We are a locally owned restaurant with three convenient Gainesville locations, two Ocala locations, and a new location in the Villages. We are the only restaurant in the state with a granite stone pizza oven!
We live a 5 minute golf cart ride away. The lines have been long, so decided to try Piesanos today for lunch. I ordered from their luncheon special menu. Had a wonderful salad which was loaded with specialty cheese, mandarin oranges, sweetened pecans, etc. The greens were crisp and fresh. A piece of pizza was included. My husband ordered a bowl of chili, a piece of pizza and small meatball sandwich with freshly made bread. All I can say is Mama Mia. Wonderful presentation with friendly service. Yes, we will be back.

I do enjoy the food here but the wait staff hasn't any training. They forget your garlic knots or your salad. You have to flag them down to get a drink, no permasense cheese. If you do go you have to stay on your game with the wait staff.

This is a country club at The Villages in central Florida.
Arrived around noon and it was definitely popping with plenty of diners but still a few tables available. It is quite loud inside with so many people talking so we sat outside overlooking the golf course and a bit of the pool area. It was fairly pleasant but much quieter. This is not an inexpensive place to dine but for a fun day out with friends, it is a nice place to splurge. Salads, sandwiches, burgers, etc. You will definitely find something to satisfy your hunger. Pleasant servers. Only disappointment was there were several bits of lettuce that had seen better days and should not have been tossed in with my salad.

Gio's Deli on Route 301 across from the Oxford Post Office. I had lunch there on Thursday (7/11) with 5 other ladies. We ordered side salads, hot and cold sandwiches, pizza by the slice and eggplant parm. Everyone was pleased with their selections. I liked it so much I took hubby there today (Saturday, 7/13) for a late lunch. The hostess gave us the option of the lunch or dinner menu since it was close to dinner time. We opted for the lunch menu of sandwiches. I had the antipasto side salad and he ordered steak fries as his side. The basket of fries was very large and the price was only $3.00. Wow! We both decided to bring half of our sandwiches home for another meal. He especially like the atmosphere of the deli/dining area. We'll be back!

At NYPD Pizza our sauces are homemade and produced with vine-ripened tomatoes. We use only pure olive oil and 100% real mozzarella cheese. All key food ingredients are grown domestically & produced in the USA, and whenever possible we use locally grown pr
Excellent pizza tonight. Tuesdays are buy one specialty pizza get a regular pizza free. One pie tonight had just about everything on it. The other pie had sausage and roasted peppers. Plenty of toppings. So far this is the best pizza in the villages. The antipastos here are also very good and fresh. You can get a beer, soda, tea and water. Service is outstanding. No one hovers of you but checks just to see if you need anything.

We have been buying pizza from this carry out only store for the past 4 years or so. Quality of the pizza is declining. We will probably try another brand the next time. Last delivery was 10 minutes or so late and pizzas were barely warm. Once they lost the order and had not even started to make the pizzas at the time I was told they would be ready for pick up.

Stopped in with friends last night and had a marvelous dinner. Ordered the Greek salad and it was loaded with ham, feta cheese, olives, with there famous garlic rolls, best we have had in awhile. Ordered to pizzas, the Hawaiian, which was ham, pineapple and sun dried tomato, yummy and a pepperoni, mushroom, xtra cheese, both were large to take home for leftovers. Busy place and great food

Seems to be a theme in this area of the villages people want to charge you big money for food itâs mediocre at best..... two sandwiches here were over $23 with nothing else included..... chicken pesto was pretty good but the steak and cheese was kind of gross..... so the search goes on for a decent steak and cheese in this area

Italian restaurant. Real New York Pizza, Calzone, Happy Hour, New Kitchen, Fresh Ingredients, Authentic Central Florida New York Pizza!
What a fantastic Italian restaurant! Great veal, fish dishes. Expanded eating area - because of the crowds. Get there early during high season - you won't be sorry.
