The pizza at MOD is delish! The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the decor and vibe is great. Everyone can get their own pizza, and pick any toppings they want! They also have incredibly good cinnamon sticks. I would highly recommend going.

Dined here with a large group. Everyone was tired of sausages and cheese curds! This place did the trick. From start to finish everything was wonderful. The appetizers of calamari, eggplant sticks, toasted ravioli were all outstanding. Everyone pretty much stuck to pasta and meatballs. Each dish was better than the next. Nobody had room for dessert. Service matched the food; excellent!!!

I have eaten at Roman Candle several times over the last few years and their pizzas are quite tasty, especially if you request anything special. We like their fresh basil and artichoke pie, in particular. The restaurant offers a few other items, but mostly they specialize in pizza toppings. They offer beer and wine for parents and a play area for kids. Overall, the setting is pleasant and service is good. Hard to compete with so many other pizza-based restaurants, but the pies are consistently tasty and the restaurant location is conveniently located close to a movie theatre, an upscale outdoor mall, and a trendy neighborhood shopping avenue in lovely Whitefish Bay.

Our son is a student at UWM and we wanted to treat him and his girlfriend to dinner that wasn't quick serve casual. Both are first year students and didn't have any suggestions but both like Italian. Google listed several places not too far from campus. We checked out the menu and were pleased that they took online reservations as we would be coming from outside Milwaukee and didn't want to be caught waiting for a table. When we arrived we were greated warmly. Several large families were already there. Multigeneratonal groups made us feel like we had chosen correctly and we were right. We enjoyed mozzarella sticks, and Italian bread with olive oil. Dinners came with choice of soup or salad. Two had salads and the other two had soup. I had vegetable soup. Nice chunks of veggies that hit the spot. Our entrees were well portioned and delicious. I The two students had left overs to take home, which made them happy. With three more years of coming to UWM we will be back.

We love their soups, salads and draft beers. I do miss the corn chowder but today we really enjoyed the loaded potato and the tomato bisque. We also had the huge lunch portion BBQ Copped Chicken and Oriental salads. We both commented that we normally avoid chain restaurants but CPK doesnât feel like a chain. Service excellent. Clean. We will be back.

This was our first visit on a slow Tuesday evening in May. The menu was simple and effective with a single size of pizza, which I approximated to be around 10". While not billed as a single serve pie, that is how families ordered the product, e.g. one pizza per diner. My spouse and I were on a Bayshore food "crawl" and kept our order to a single pizza to share (3 medium sized slices each). Our order was taken and pie made swiftly, choosing from one of the Specialty pizzas at a very reasonable $7.95. Our selection included sausage, onion and red pepper. The sausage and other toppings were dispensed from open air containers - refrigeration unknown. The sausage started as large precook blobs that were hand broken up and distributed over the shaved mozzarella covered pie. The assembled pizza was transferred to a vast fired oven and expertly manipulated to cooked with a well browned crust in a matter of minutes and served up immediately. My crisp crust loving spouse drew immediate delight from the properly cooked and flavorful slice. I too enjoyed the texture of the thin crust. Part of the way into my second slice I noted a significant detractor - past its prime sausage flavor. While not at the stage to cause gastrointestinal distress, the flavor was noticeably lacking in freshness and had taken on an unsavory taint. I did not bring this to my spouse's attention lest it cast a pallor over her rare joy of this dining experience. My silence did not aid my enjoyment of the remaining 1-2 pieces. Topping freshness is key in the pizza business. Certain toppings can linger on with long freshness lives, sausage is not among them. If we are to revisit Blaze, we will gravitate to the wide selection of veggies and perhaps chicken to avoid the dreaded "past its prime" sausage.

As a New Englander whose spoiled on pizza, this place is excellent. The crust is between thin and thick, and the sauce is excellent (the spices really come out). Prices are good, but there are always specials on their website. The cook time could be faster though as my order was 25 minutes and I had to wait an additional 10 minutes on a slow day.
