Just left the Milton Café after our first visit and had to post a review.Absolutely amazing pasta dishes! My meat cannelloni was the BEST I've ever eaten. No exception. So fresh, massive portion and beautiful.My fiancé had the Calabrese special and my step son had Bolognese and all three of us are now in food coma heaven!Garlic bread with cheese was perfection also.The appearance of the café is basic but clean and the waitress was very warm and friendly. It's cash only but there is an ATM not far away.Can't wait to visit again except for the fact that NO-ONE eats this much for lunch!! Hi Kittster1,Thank-you for such an incredible review. We really love it here. The casual atmosphere is great and the welcome always friendly, whenever we drop by for an impromptu meal. Our latest visit was on a Saturday evening. Weâre always surprised the restaurantâs not fully booked, but happy that a table for two has been available in this secret escape, on the four occasions weâve paid a visit. The staff are charming and food always extremely tasty, in this hidden gem just around the corner from our home. Weâd forgotten the starters are enormous, suppressing our appetite for our main courses, but this a tiny âcriticismâ at an otherwise, thoroughly enjoyable eatery.

First time here today celebrating our daughters birthday. Five adults two toddlers and a baby. Definitely will be coming back here. Welcome and service was excellent the food however was amazing. Could not fault anything, everyone cleared their plates. A lovely place to come for a family celebration, the waiter playing with the children was lovely. Totally recommend IL Pescatore.

I popped in to this restaurant on a beautiful July evening and it stuck in my mind. An excellent homemade bruschetta, a simple but lovely mushroom pasta, washed down with an excellent italian white. Friendly efficient staff. All whilst watching the sun go down over the estuary. Very good! I didnt have any change and I got confused with the card machine - so I didnt leave a tip. So please tip them twice on my behalf if you go!

Our first visit last Friday night and it was great.We were able to book a table for two that evening without a problem.We were greeting by a lovely lady (I think owner) and made us feel very welcome.I must say the food is great value, however it's the quality that impressed me the most. For example I had the mussel starter and I'd say its the best I've ever had.The atmosphere is very nice and would suit both couples and larger groups.All in all I cant believe I haven't been here soon but will be back
