Pizzas are well made, the special salad of the day is a nice appetizer (yet it has a bit too much dressing), the branzino is charcoal dark all over but managed to remain soft enough inside, the chocolate cake is creamy and heavy (some people look for that).The place is noisy, very noisy !The staff is nice and efficient.The bill is overpriced.

Mostly I have ordered pizza here, on occasion a soup or stuffed bread. All have been very good. It is mostly a take out restaurant, though they have a few tables if you want to eat there. They have plastic ware for plates, utensils and cups. Love that they always have Foxon Birch beer soda. It is the best Birch beer soda made. You order at the counter or call it in. Pleasant and efficient staff. Do not hesitate to grab a bite here, or take it out, great for tailgating or picnic too.

Located right by the water, this place is an institution in the neighborhood.You walk in and order at the counter.Eating inside is limited to a few stools along the window counter. Outside, they have picnic tables set up during warm weather.I ordered a sausage and eggs grinder.It was ready in about 10 minutes.It was a huge grinder that was very tasty and filling.Friendly staff.

The pizza here is amazing. I am a New Haven native and didn't think it were possible to find any good Pizza in another town, so I would aways drive over the bridge to buy Pizza. Finally tried Mike's after hearing it was good, and I was NOT DISAPPOINTED! They have my vote... best Pizza in West Haven

I'll start with this: Frank Pepe Pizza is the BEST!! No, its not crazy combinations of toppings one can get at other pizza places--it's just the BEST pizza ever. The dough, the sauce, the toppings---unmatched. There. I said it.THE SPOT is the little place behind the Frank Pepe larger restaurant. The pizza is the same. It's smaller, quieter and feels like home. I love how informal everything is here.If you want balsamic fig pizza, or barbecue chicken pizza...this isn't your thing. You'll be disappointed. If you want the BEST pizza...Frank Pepe.

After a decade I finally returned, next time I will not wait as long. This pizza was absolutely delicious. Delicious sauce and cheese just enough on a thin to medium crust that was on the verge of chewy and crunchy. At one point I actually thought the crust might've been even better than the sauce and cheese part, now that's saying something. Lots of dining space here thought you might have a problem when it's crowded. Go before six and beat the crowd. Clean place, decent service and you get what you pay for, that delicious pie!!

Simple but delicious! Great for big groups and families. Loved the Salad with caramelized pecans and bleu small and large both portion to share.Pick your pizza topping... pepperoni had a nice spice Great beer selection and bartender was able to give you suggestions. Cocktail selection looked great but went for IPA

I came in for lunch.They have take out only.I ordered a sausage and peppers on a hard roll.($5.50).It was ready in about 10 minutes. While waiting, there was a steady stream of customers coming in to pick up their orders.The sandwich was stuffed with sausage slices, peppers, tasty sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese. I had to use a fork with so much falling out of sandwich.I was very pleased with my meal and to come back to try the pizza.Friendly service.

We love Brazi's, its food and its people. We eat there regularly, and when our extended family has a gathering for special (and sometimes solemn) occasions, Brazi's is our go-to place for these functions. My daughter lives in Madison Wisconsin, and she misses East Coast pizza. Its just not the same anywhere else. I found out that Zuppardis can ship 6 ten inch frozen pies in dry ice. 2 day fed ex. It came in perfect condition. Her friends loved it, and best part is that it arrived on her birthday. We will definitely do this again! Also i talked to one of the owners, Laurie, and she was a pleasure to work with.
