The town was formed in 1829, as the construction of the Ohio and Erie Canal along the west bank of the Scioto River brought new growth to the area. In 1861 the county seat was moved here from Piketon.

This place is okay. The food is good. The service is horrible. It's family owned and the daughters pretty much run it and they are rude! It can be sometimes. It just depends on if people are dancing or what band is playing.

Stopped July 1st, 2017 after a concert at the New Covenant 3C's Church- for a Pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza, & a wings (all hot-n-ready orders). They were cheap, fast, hot, & tasted good. The staff did a fine job on it.

The food was excellent, and the service was good. The problem with Pizza Huts is that they keep the dining room too cold, to the point it is uncomfortable, regardless of the time of the year.

Not someplace I would go again, we tried it once and to see the satff in the kitchen touching peoples food with their bare hands was kind of gross. So not someplace I would go back to.

There are pizza places all over Waverly, but Lloyds is one of the best! The toppings always taste fresh and the thin crust is superb! I eat here at least twice a month and haven't gotten a bad pie yet! The staff is friendly and the place is always clean. Well worth the stop! In case you're wondering why I did not give it 5 stars, it's because they do not serve beer and I love a tall frosty one with my pie!

Onion rings, sodas and a large pizza cost 50.00, with an average tip, for three people. The pizza was skimpy with their toppings and, the crust was too thin. The toppings did have a good flavor, especially the cheese. We drove a good distance to eat here on the recommendations of friends but, definitely not worth the trip. Maybe we stopped on a bad night so, we may give it another try if we are in the area again.

Giovanni's Pizza is one of our favorite pizza places. The venue is clean and quaint. The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. The breadsticks are the best! Thank you for the great review.
