Dined here with a large group. Everyone was tired of sausages and cheese curds! This place did the trick. From start to finish everything was wonderful. The appetizers of calamari, eggplant sticks, toasted ravioli were all outstanding. Everyone pretty much stuck to pasta and meatballs. Each dish was better than the next. Nobody had room for dessert. Service matched the food; excellent!!!

Stopped on a weekday night as a first visit. Parking availability is difficult as road construction is on the location's street. Once parked the service was quick and the Bolognese was actually pretty good while the pizza left much to be desired. They do have outdoor seating available in the summer but I experienced nothing on the food side to draw me back.

We love coming here, we go several times a year. The pizza is great, nice and thin as far as the crust. The double-dipped garlic bread cannot be beat!!!the only down side is that I don't think they have the best wine list.

The atmosphere is slightly more upscale than its sister restaurant on 68th and Wells, with discreet service and heavier flatware. The food is well prepared, though sometimes a tad heavy on the butter. The portions are Milwaukee-style large, and friendliness prevails. Plus you never feel rushed when lingering over coffee and dessert. A good place to bring a Valentine's date!

At Sluggo's, we strive to give you that "sports bar" atmosphere, but with the friendly faces and comfortable atmosphere you find only in your local pubs. We offer great food and even better prices. Be sure to stop in and get our $5, $10 and $20 gift certi
Sluggo"s has great bar food. We stopped in for lunch. Being retired allows you to even have a beer with lunch :) Sandwiches are very good whether burgers or others. Join the Sluggo's "club" and get monthly coupons with cash off your meals or some nice gifts as well. Great place, no matter what.

Crankyâs is a morning Wauwatosa local tradition for good donuts and coffee. They also offer a few other breakfast items if you arenât into donuts. Itâs a bit noisy as the acoustics are great, but there always seems to be plenty of tables . My only complaint is that if you donât get in there early, they run out of donuts by 8:30AM. People flock in there, and many businesses buy large quantities real early, so people like me, who go in for a crueller or apple fritter a bit later , after the kids are in school, and we are out of luck . Oh Well, the early bird catches the donut hole!

What a treat to find this family owned Italian restaurant on a snowbound visit to Milwaukee. Even though it was busy we were welcomed by a friendly hostess and seated almost immediately. Our waitress took very good care of us. We loved their baked french onion soup and the thin crust pizza was amazing.
