Getting together with the family in Waterloo, Illinois, I was trusting everyone for a great place for dinner and they didnât disappoint with the recommendation for Hopskeller.They have a full bar with a variety of taps, and they offer pizza and salads. They have indoor seating as well as seating on the patio and the environment was fantastic. Even though itâs been many years since I have lived in Waterloo, I felt like I was at Cheers before the evening was done.The pizzas were great and while we didnât do the salads, they looked mighty fine. Based on the experience, the TravelGuy recommends the Hopskeller, especially on Friday night for the brewski specials.

As someone mentioned pizza sauce was awesome. Crust is a little thin making it soggy for microwaved leftovers. Portions are very generous. Plan on ordering ahead due to the long wait 50-60 minutes but worth the wait. Very small with limited dining in and noisy due to small size. Very family oriented and casual. Plan on making it a habit.

We have been going to this Imo's for years now, everyone is so friendly but the last few months the restaurant itself isn't very clean. The floors look gross, and everything else looks questionable. We recently went to the one in Columbia, IL and overall the pizza and wings were much better tasting, the crust was much crispier and the place was very clean. I would recommend that one if you are in the area.

Went to lunch buffet with family and kids. Sounds like a good idea. The buffet was out of pasta and the most common pizza types. Multiple groups of people were waiting for something to be put out. There is no salad bar at the buffet, instead they bring you one small salad with little to nothing on it. Plates ran out for a while during the wait. They lure you in with the buffet and then there you are waiting forever.
