Cute little pizzeria - with fabulous pizzas. But warning - stay away from the Lasagne - has absolutely NO RELATION whatsoever to a Traditional Italian Lasagne. From the minute I tasted it, I complained and said it tasted "off" and not at all like a lasagne - the waitress was unimpressed with the complaint and even though it was not eaten and taken back to the kitchen - we still had to pay for it! We got 2 free espressos, but I can't understand how someone can charge you full price for a main course which was never eaten?! But I suppose after so many years in Switzerland, I should be used to bad customer service! It's an unfortunate incident but means I would not go back there again.

I was craving for a pizza and tired of the âtourist trapâ when I found this place on Tripadvisor.Donât expect a nice place, the restaurant is old and ugly, however the pizza is delicious and prices are unbeatable!Itâs definitely worth a try!

Posto molto cool di Locarno visitato durante il festival.Servizio eccellente per la cura (es. bicchiere di birra vuoto portato con ghiaccio per mantenerlo fresco) e prezzi giusti per la location. Non do un 5 perché qualcosa da migliorare câè ma sicuramente torneremo. Punto forte: detto del servizio al tavolo curato, cito la bella terrazza, un salotto in centro città .Da migliorare: secondo me, quando la cameriera viene al tavolo per prendere lâordinazione deve arrivare con un paio di menu, se poi il cliente non lo vuole, perché sa già cosa vuole. Questo non è stato fatto.

Sat outside for lunch.Perfectly acceptable home cooked food, not gastro, just nice.Very helpful and friendly.Gnocchi, mixed salad, lasagne, large beer, absol spritz and one cappuccino came to CHF64.50 about 50% more than at home.Surprised no credit cards accepted, fortunately had cash âthough thereâs an ATM close by.

Worst meal in Switzerland I have eaten. And I have lived in Switzerland 5 years. We were a table of four and each had a different dish. My partner took the small shrimp salad. The shrimps were over-cooked and the salad was about 10cm diameter. One of my sons had spare-ribs. Tough and lacking in flavour. My other son took Cheese and Tomato pizza. The base was chewy and lacking flavour. I took lemon ravioli with shrimp. Again shrimp over-cooked and pasta way past al dente. Not to be recommended, much better establishments in the area. 135chf for a bad experience. We drove to Locarno from Stresa and wanted a simple, light lunch. We found Al Torchio at the edge of the busy section with a patio that looks on a park, the lake , marinas and mountains. My only real negative comment is that the board out front advertised a daily special for 19.50 (which was Swiss Francs or 17 â¬) When we received the menu, aside from pizza, most dishes were much more. Once we found things to order, everything was very fresh and delicious. My husband started with the insalata mista. It had several lettuces, carrots, cucumbers, big chunks of tomato, green beans and beets and was dressed with a light vinaigrette. I had ordered an entree salad which was the insalata mista plus tuna, and was the perfect light lunch I was seeking. 16 Fr (about 14â¬) seemed a bit high, but The portions were generous. My husband ordered tagliatelle Bolognese which was very good, very hot and a generous portion. I had some after he was finished, and we still left some. Had we been there with a larger group, salads and pastas could have been shared.

Located just off the busy Piazza Grande, Percabbo offers a varied menu of pizza, pasta, risotto, meat and fish in a modern and sleek ambiance. The restaurant was full on a Monday and is open on Sundays. We enjoyed ultra-fresh tuna tartar and tender (not chewy) grilled octopus as starters. We then shared a juicy rib eye steak, done to our liking, with sides of fragrant rosemary roasted potatoes and fresh sauteed spinach. Every dish was pleasing to the eye and tasty. The waitress didn't frown when we asked to share the sizeable main course, as sometimes happens. On the contrary, she was friendly and efficient throughout the service. A welcome addition to the Locarno restaurant scene.

The eatery does not look very appealing, but the food here is very good and at excellent value. The sea bass is not to be missed, and the oil & garlic spaghetti is excellent here. I don't recommend the dessert here but it wasn't bad. Location: Once you reach the church turn right and the restaurant will be to your right.

Best compromise in town for a quick take away. Very gentle service, tasty pizzas with a touch of olive oil on the top which makes the difference!Merci :)
