Reviews on Pizza food in Verona, Province of Verona, Italy. So splendid was medieval Verona that its reputation alone inspired Shakespeare to set two plays here (Romeo and Juliet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona). Though its connection to the actual Capulets is tenuous at best, the so-called Juliet's House draws half a million tourists per year, many of them keen on reenacting the balcony scene. Don't miss the Roman amphitheater and the Palazzo Barberi.

Ok service. Good ingredients. Pizza too dry for my tastes. Too many mosquitos in the restaurants (and we were sitting inside). They make just pizza. We asked for a salad (which they could do with some of the ingredients of the pizza) but they did not provide it. You could do better, i guess.

We've dropped in occasionally - just liked it from the outside. Very good food and service. Just around the corner from the crowds of tourists but you feel quiet and can enjoy great Italian nights.

We dined here twice while vacationing in Verona. Both meals were great. We ordered the pizza crunch and yeast free pizza. Everything was flavorful and fresh. In terms of service, the waiters were able to provide english and italian menus and accommodated my food allergies accordingly. We didn't have a reservation and they were able to fit us in as well. Side note: I recommend going right at opening if you don't have one.If you are in the area and you love pizza, this is a must do!

Stopped by da Mario for a quick lunch on a Saturday in April. While there are plenty of other Italian foods on the menu, we came especially for pizza. There is an extensive list of pizza options, which to some respect was too long to look through. I picked one (grilled vegetables) but my friend just mentioned what she fancied and the staff were happy to oblige! We didn't wait long at all for our food and when it did come we were presented with the most delicious pizza. The dough was so tasty, the amount of mozarella on top generous, and the veg really fresh. The pizza was plenty big enough for 2 ladies to share, but it was so good that we both finished our pizza! The restaurant is relaxed and unpretentious. Service is friendly and staff spoke excellent English. If this restuarant was local to me I would be a regular. I'll definitely be back if I find myself in Verona again.Highly recommended.

On a recent three-day visit to Verona, I had dinner at Nastro Azzurro twice. It was that good! Yummy pizza the first night with a group of 10, and an excellent heart-shaped Romeo & Juliet ravioli the second night with just my husband. Pleasant outdoor seating near Piazza Bra (but away from crowds and noise), and the service was excellent. Nice variety on the menu, superb wine, all around a great experience for our brief visit. If we return, we'll go again!

This is a small pizza restaurant with maybe six tables. It also does takeaway. You order the pizza, panini etc at the table and pick up beer or wine from the fridge. The pizzas were both outstanding. I had four cheese and my partner had four seasons. The restaurant was very clean, the owners were very friendly. Could not fault it.

Came here two nights in a row because this place was so good! Itâs great for somebody whoâs looking for some food, but also on a budget. The pictures below only cost me â¬8.something! The receipt is of tonight but itâs just to show prices. Great selection of pizza and to weigh it by the gram is a great idea. Got some free cake too! Thanks!

Absolutely perfect pizzas. What more should I say ? Various and done to perfection; if ordered in advance, pizzas are all 5.50 euro.
