Vereeniging (Afrikaans pronunciation: [fəˈrɪənəχəŋ]) is a city in Gauteng province, South Africa, situated where the Klip River empties into the northern loop of the Vaal River. It is also one of the constituent parts of the Vaal Triangle region and was formerly situated in the Transvaal province. The name Vereeniging is derived from the Dutch word meaning "association" or "union".

We heard about this restaurant from church friends, who were quite impressed and we thought to pay it a visit.Situated in the Meyerton Agricultural Holdings area of Meyerton, it is well removed from the hustle and bustle of town and traffic noice.It is a "farm style" restaurant and absolutely focussed on kiddies as well as relaxing time for adults.The main restaurant consists of a large thatched roof are as well as verandah.There is a swimming pool, with shaded seating, trampolines, free "mall kiddies rides" koi ponds, big blowbup slide, and many more gazebo covered tables.The menu focusses on small meals and the biggest grill dish would be a 300gr rump steak.But even so the menu has a variety of small meals which are freshly made. So, allow some time for this.A nice selection of cakes are also on order.The restaurant also has a well equipped bar.In essence, this is a fun family dayout venue.The menu meal prices are very reasonable.We are sure to take the grandchildren there. No doubt.The main thing is that there is covered covered seating at all the kiddie activities.

Although i havent ever eaten pizza from Dominoes, we have ordered the cheesy parmesan breadsticks and the spicy chicken strips from them and it was absolutely delicious. Good service. Neat and clean.Keep up the good work!

Place was not very busy, but it was probably the time which was somewhere between breakfast and lunch. Food was well prepared but the service absolutely poor. We waited 45minutes for cappuccinos to be served and an hr for the food.Dear abcdef493,Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. After being recommended by friends we tried it and it was most definitely not our last visit. The pizza was delicious, but they do have other offerings as well, from pasta to seafood and steak. The service was excellent and the staff were all very friendly. Well worth a visit!

I visited this Restaurant last Tuesday evening with a friend. This was my first visit there and I looked forward to a memorable evening given the excellence of this Ownerâs sister Restaurant, also situated in the area.The interior decoration was pretty standard. In fact, comparing with the Restaurant that the Owner operated there before it was nothing special. Frankly, donât expect ambiance much different from a fastfood Restaurant.The waiter was well spoken and gave good account of the menu. My Associate ordered pizza (impressive looking wood fired oven) and I ordered a Kingklip with Prawns and Calamari based on the recommendation of the Waiter. The Restaurant was quiet and never had more than about 10% of the tables occupied during the course of the evening. Yet, it took a full one and a half hours to serve the meal! The Kingklip was served on a plate but in a piece of aluminum foil which was shaped like a bowl. The Kingklip was positioned at the centre of the plate whilst the Prawns and Calamari were floating on either side in a watery substance with a few pieces of vegetable.What a complete and utter disappointment! I donât know what went wrong in their kitchen on this particular evening and surely hope that this is not their standard quality food or service.On the upside, the pizza was excellent.

We normally experience that other pizza places wants to make the pizza's to complicated with much toppings. The pizza's we received were nice thin based, properly made and very taste full. The order was delivered on time and nicely hot.

The restaurant and grounds are beautiful and they have a fantastic kids play area. The food is of very high quality and the service is great. They sometimes have special events like live bands, etc. The restaurant is next to a beautiful big pool that you can swim in when its warm. Plus they have various types of buck wandering around a huge grassy area. The hotel looks very modern and comfortable and they even have a special package for "date night". Great for conferences and weddings too.
