I've been to Restorante Lino for lunch with my parents on our one-day visit to Ventimiglia. The owner hosted us with the friendliest manner ever. Food was beyond delicious, we loved every bit of it. The hot freshly baked bread was yummy! We ordered two 20⬠menus and it was enough for 3 people but you could still order 3 menus for the 3 people and it would be good. I particularly loved the lasagna, my mum loved the fresh tomato taste of the spaghetti and my dad really liked the grilled veal escalope. Very cosy place that I would recommend.Thank you very much!

We are regular customers at Il Corallo and are never disappointed. The menu changes regularly making it a different experience each time. The waiter Constantino is knowledgable about wines and expert and cheerful in his work. Our English friends found the whole atmosphere pleasurable and the food superb, and of course the settin sun over the sparkling Mediterranean made the whole evening magical. Well done Il Corallo.

This pizzeria is just down the street from where I have been living in Bordighera since November 2017. Blue Lagoon is just across the street, and I know my laziness has taken me there when my yearning for pizza needs to be fed. I decided today that it was time for a change. Il Cappero has only a few tables; I always try to beat the crowd when I'm eating alone and I also have American eating habits that regulate the timing of my hunger. I arrived at 7:10 pm and the tables were full within the next 30 minutes. In that time, 5 or 6 people also came in for pizza to go. I ordered a glass of red wine for 3⬠and Pizza Bordighiotta which was topped by tomato sauce, mozzarella, prosciutto crudo, rocket, gorgonzola, and another cheese unfamiliar to me which was shaved on top of everything else. Pizza prices range from 8⬠to 12â¬, and this was at the top of the range. The fresh tomatoes were sweet and delicious and the rocket was fresh and crisp. The pizza crust was light and crispy at the edges, not overly doughy. There is also a decent selection of traditional Italian pasta and seafood dishes, including a regional pasta called Fioche alla Genovese--pasta with potatoes, green beans and pesto. This will be my "go to" place for pizza, and I look forward to trying other menu selections. I highly recommend, but either go early or make a reservation.

Friday night. Pouring rain. Restaurants up and down the seacoast in tourist-friendly Ventimiglia are nearly empty. La Meridiana is packed to overflowing. Laughing, signing, no dancing, but plenty of eating! This place is loved by locals. This, in a town which probably has the freshest fruits, vegetables and meats across the French and Italian Rivieras. We were blown away by this place's popularity. But how was our dinner? It was fine. Like others have said, not a word of English is spoken here. Not. One. Word. The menu is in Italian and some other unrecognizable language (French?). Nothing in English. But you can get by. We ordered two pizzas - a Valtellina, with lots of meat and cheese and aragula (it was great), and a Siciliana, with olives and anchovies (and it was pretty gross, even for my wife the anchovy lover). A mezzo carafa of local red wine was excellent, and so was the panna cotta for dessert. Check was 29,50 euro. Lay off the anchovies and you will probably do all right here.

We came here on the evening of Valentine's Day, without a reservation. But they were very nice, and made a place for us. We ordered two pizzas: a vegetarian choice and another which was the house specialty, plus some house red wine, and draft beer. Everything was really good. The staff was helpful, cheerful and prompt. The prices were also good. The location of this pizzeria is one block off the ocean front. It seems to be popular with local people. The weathered green exterior looks a bit faded, but inside everything has been recently remodeled. We would definitely go again.

Pizzeria Ristorante forno a legna
Visited on market day, arrived at midday, by 12.30 the place was rammed. 3 of us had pizzas, proper wood fired light and crispy Italian pizzas, all delicious. One of us had carbonara, really egg yolky, rich and very tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Meal was great value. Highly recommend. Grazie Mille
