The mussel soup was ok, but the salmon pasta and the ravioli were delicious! The outdoor area was nice too. Best place in this area.

We found this restaurant just by chance as we already gave up to find something what opened at lunch time .And it was really worse it .View was amazing . There were just few people in restaurant and we had very quick and attentive service.Fresh fish and local wine what else you need .Food was great and reasonably priced .Pity we did not have time to visit them for dinner and try their pizza. Highly recommended . It was real good taste of Sicily and chance to speak with local people.

I have now eaten at La Tonnara several times including their Christmas special dinner which was a great experience, but last night surpassed all that went before. The front of house restaurant manager, Gerry Anello , looked after us as usual with his unobtrusive input, recommending dishes and wines, he speaks most western European languages, so that helps, The area specialises in sea food because fresh everything comes from the many fishermen every day and cooked and presented the way their chefs do, it will almost melt in your mouth. A mass of delicious tastes. I like good food, but this is excellent. Go there if you can. It is right next to the sea and seating outside in the summer places you almost on the beach.

The newly opened restaurant, with typical Sicilian food, fresh fish and pizzeria with wood oven. recommended the appetizer "Cavalluccio marino"
As tourists I suppose our party would've been more than obvious..mostly NOT speaking Italian & not LOOKING Italian..but that's no reason to take 'advantage' of us & 'foist' on us a supposed 'shared seafood starter" that turned out to be a monstrously overpriced PLATTER for which we were charged 67.50 Euros -- OVERcharged more like it!Whilst the quality was ok , it was obviously a con..& its not a nice feeling to be "done over"..even though we were able to bear the price & the food was "nice'...but certainly not outstanding--which at the price charged t shouldve been! You could say more fool us, but in these parts we'd come to believe you didn't NEED to negotiate the price of such a food order, because you already knew it simply was not going to be a lot of money.Steer clear unless you like cold white Florescent lighting & being cheated.

U'RAIS is the refined and exclusive restaurant of the best known traditional Sicilian cuisine you can find at the Hotel Tonnara di Trabia.
We stayed at the villa across the street and went here the night we arrived, wow! What attention we received! The mussels were delicious, pizza excellent, other pasta dishes outstanding, delicious wine, the list goes on! We were invited to eat at the morning breakfast at the hotel which worked out great as we had no groceries yet. Gerry prepared a local feast for us on our last night and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed meeting him and the other staff. Highly recommended!

We were there in a group and we were impressed by the quality and freshness of the seafood we had. E.g. We had fresh sea urchins but also the usual range of fried calamari, seafood salad, fish carpaccio etc.It was also quite abundant, which is why after the antipasti (see above) we had to leave more than half of our pasta with scampi on our plates! We will return next time!

During our 10 days stay in San Nicola we have been twice to the Pizzeria Madosa. The Pizze are just fabulous, the staff is very friendly. Also the Bruscette are delicious and good local wine can we ordered. The only critique is the TVs which are on during the dinner and the kids were obviously constantly watching instead of enjoying the meal.

I was recommended this restaurant by the people I rented an apartment from and looking at the TA reviews I was really looking forward to our meal. Everything was fine - service, food and drinks - just not the wow factor I was expecting. I'd been in Cefula earlier in the week and had a meal which blew me away and so maybe I was expecting something similar. Would happily return, but would manage my expectations

Pub Pizzeria
Whilst the food here is of a fairly good standard, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. We wereStaying at the Domina zagarellaOpposite and this is one of only 2 restaurants in walking distance. I appreciate that as a result they are busy - especially between 7.30 and 8.30 but in my book a little customer attention and a smile go a very long way. There are numerous bottles of wine decorating the inside of the restaurant but there is no wine list. Your choice is white or red, half bottle or full?! The terrace is lovely and eating outside is the norm but tonight it rained suddenly and the priority was to get the empty tables under cover - never mind the customers. We had to ask to go inside. We had a very tasty meal so canât really complain about the food but I donât feel the restaurant deserves the amount of business it receives from its captive audience. We decided not to come back after 2 visits early in the week but the other restaurant Baja Dei Fenici (which is far nicer) was inaccessible this evening due to a flash flood in the road after a storm. Hopefully we shall return there tomorrow.Guardi mi scusi ma credo che lei ha sbagliato locale...noi siamo a bagheria e siamo molto distanti dal dominal
