Sia Ristorante Che Pizzeria
We were staying down the road at Laconda del'Amarosa and happened to pass this place on our way back from a day trip to Montepulciano. It was right down the street so we noted it as a place to eat if we wanted something local and casual. We dropped by one night at about 8:00 and there were so few cars that we didn't think it was open. However, we were just there early...the first in the dining room.First of all, the lettuce salads were large by Italian standards...something we missed from the US. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes accompanied with Italian balsamic and olive oil - a great start. The four of us ordered 3 pizza's and one order of ravioli. All were delicious. Two of the diners commented that the pizza was some of the best that we had during the 2 weeks that we were in Italy. Italian pizza crust is relatively thin but this was even thinner than most - so if thin pizza crust is something you like, this is a place for you. We also had a bottle of wine and 2 beers - for the sum total of 70 EUR...less expensive than many places we dined! As we approached 9:00, more diners came in - all seemed local rather than tourists like us.

Typical Tuscan Cuisine - Certified Chianina Meat Grilled Meat on Wood Brace - Pizza Wood Bakery - Paninoteca Bar (Panini filled with local products at this time) National and International Liquors - pastries, breads and pasta are home made.
Me and my friend were returning from a weekend at the Terme and it was 5pm, all restaurants along the road were closed. Well we stumbled in this trattoria and found friendly owners and staff that allowed us a proper meal despite the odd hour. I had a Chianina steak which was delicious and very reasonably priced. If you're in the area to visit the Outlet or whether you are passing by as we were, stop by and sit down for a hearty meal and some friendly chatter.

We visited this Pizzeria for take away pizzas and despite a lack of Italian on our part and a lack of English on the owner's part, we were able to make ourselves understood. The chap explained that he would have to fire up the oven and suggested that we come back in an hour. As we had shopping to do, we were happy to do so. On our return, the pizzas were not quite ready-we were given a complimentary glass of wine whilst we waited in the sunshine-not a bad way to spend an afternoon! The pizzas were really good and we all enjoyed them. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated and the owner truly affable. We often visit this region and will return to eat in!

For local food at a good price this takes some beating .Generous portions but no compromise on quality .Excellent value house wines and a good selection of traditional dishes .We both enjoyed anti pasti followed by grilled lamb with mint . All good .Friendly attentive service .Try it .Roger and Sara Mitchell

Located next to a Lidl on a roundabout just off the autostrada, but donât be put off.As others have, we wondered why we had traded the picturesque villages and towns of Tuscany for basically a car park - but we are glad we did.The best pizza we have had outside of Napoli. And of location is important to you, they offer takeaway too so you can enjoy back where youâre staying.

The restaurant is known for its excellent quality of food and wine, and its focus on traditional cuisine: homemade delicacies such as Focaccia; Crostini; Mushrooms; Tuscanyâs amazing Chianina beef, (the famous Bistecca alla Fiorentinaâ grilled steak Flore
We live quite locally & have a choice of many restaurants & trattoria that serve a good standard of food. However, over the years, our 'go-to' eating place has been Pizzeria-Trattoria Napoli. It is consistently excellent, offering an extensive menu of Tuscan dishes, a changing menu of the day, & - my personal favourites - the lightest restaurant pici & the best focaccia around. The service is welcoming, informal & efficient, & the prices are very reasonable. The atmosphere is effortlessly authentic & attracts staff from surrounding businesses as well as tourists who stumble upon it. We've also dined here in the evening, when the 'Pizzeria' aspect comes into play along with the other menu dishes. (Non-tourist area pizzerias, with genuine wood-fired ovens, usually only operate in the evenings). If pizzas are your thing, this is one of the best, but book ahead in the summer if you want an outside table - another testimony to its quality.

We visit this place every year - eating pizza on the terrace overlooking Tuscany is the best feeling! The pizzas are unbelievably thin based and have beautiful toppings. Only one waitress speaks a bit of English but we muddle through with our smattering of Italian. Very popular place with the locals, which speaks volumes. Love it!

Stumbled across Piccolo Ristorante in the delightful village of Torrita di Siena. We sat in the outside garden setting with beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside. Our waitress was delightful and laughed with us over our lack of Italian. The mushroom tagliatelle was absolutely delicious, the menu choice extensive and reasonably priced. A really lovely lunch time stop.

Because it's good, it's busy, usually with locals, which is always a good sign. Daniel is a friendly English speaking manager, his partner is a wonderful cook. My wife says the Picci with beef Ragu is the best she's ever had and we've been going to Italy for 10 years. The Steaks are wonderfull in fact we've never had a bad meal yet and we've eaten there often. I've never tried one but the Pizzas look fantastic too. The name if the place is Il Botteghino so there may be another page elsewhere. We eat here at least twice a year.
