If you ever enjoyed food from LOCAL in New Buffalo, then you know the skill of the two folks who operate this pizzeria. I walked in to Patellie's with plenty of presuppositions, I walked out with a happy belly and with all those presuppositions affirmed. These folks know food. Better still, they care where the food they serve comes from. I can't think of a place in Berrien County that I could enjoy sausage on a pizza, because pigs are tradition treated horribly. However, Patellie's sources happy pigs that live a fantastic life, and as Ellie says, "with just one bad day." I can always expect to have sustainably raised veggies and meat at Patellie's which is why we can't wait to go back. In addition the pizza is thin with a crust that needs to be savored. The meatballs were perfect. It's been almost two weeks since I've gone and I'm still having dreams about them. The salad was a delight too and the dressing were incredible. The staff....Pat and Ellie are a great addition to Three Oaks food, not just because they make great food, but because they are friendly people. That friendliness seems to draw other friendly staff to their business. Abby and Jessica were working up front when we went in and you find yourself talking to them instead of ordering your food sometimes because they have such inviting personalities. The price actually seemed low considering the quality of food you are getting. Did I mention I can't wait to go back!? Thanks for doing the hard work of bringing great food to Southwest Michigan's people!

We had breakfast in the enjoyable courtyard with our family We had pancakes with delicious berry sauce.Another day we had lunch and each had a "make your own" pizza. Lots of ingredients like artichokes, sundried tomatoes, mushrooms....to chose from. For desert we shared an italian cream cake. Both time service was good even during busy lunch time.Thank you so much for your kind words! We will look forward to seeing you again sometime soon.

This is a good carry out pizza joint. I think they do delivery but it wasn't far from the cabin and we were already out and about so we went in. It's just a little spot in a strip mall. The lady running the place was friendly and efficient and made us some very nummy calzones. They have daily specials and even do breakfast. If you're in Union Pier, give it a shot.

I had the very fortunate opportunity to revisit my favorie global Italian restaurant and surprisingly was rewarded. During the annual seasonal closing, they totally remodeled the dining area/bar/and restaurant area and brought it up to an exceptional current vogue. They are even in the process of adding an al fresco dining area as well and orchestrated a large private dining area for private special events. The bar menu has expanded and this visit had a special on Godiva chocolate coffee martinis. Absolutely wonderful!The chicken parmesan dinner is hands down the best I have ever tasted. The owner, Theresa, is personable and simply a joy!Don't pass up this fabulous restaurant when visiting SW Michigan!!

The food was very good...very fresh and delicious. The new owners are doing it right. We go here whenever we go to New Buffalo...this time was an improvement from the last. The restaurant was nice and clean, the tables didn't wobble and knock drinks over and service was immediate to get our drinks and order. Then...the problem. We were the only people in the restaurant and it took nearly an hour to get our food. The staff courteous and fun and the food was great when we finally got it. Wait was just to long for on one else there.
