Visited for lunch while on a business trip. The place offers a a inch of tvâs. Bar/pub type atmosphere but a step up perhaps. Food was very good and service was as well. It was very crowded for lunch so must be a go to for locals. Pub type menu with some extras. Extremely large menu as well.

This was my first time here and I was very disappointed in the pizza. There is a beautiful stone/brick oven in the restaurant. When I saw that I thought to myself, wow, this should be good. Well we ordered the Margherita Pizza. I specifically asked the waitress if they had fresh basil and garlic and she said yes. It certainly did not have anything fresh on it. Dried up basil? from a shaker. No garlic. Chewy cheese like rubber. The sauce was very bland. If I hadnât been so hungry and with a friend I would have sent it back. Needless to say, I will never order a pizza there again. Especially at $12.99. The frozen pizza from Kroger is 10 times better! On a lighter note, the Greek salad was really good. Also, No fresh lime for beer. Probably wonât go back. Not very handicap friendly. I think there were two small tables close to the oven. Everything else you have to step up to.

After near 30 years in Lancaster OH, it took a Groupon to take me to Pleasantville and Pacers. I was not disappointed. After an experience earlier this week with carry out at the local Awful Garden with inadequate sauce for the amount of overcooked pasta, Pacers was frigging awesome. I'd rather have too much sauce with correctly cooked pasta than overcooked nasty pasta with too little Awful Garden sauce. Pacers ROCKED. From service to food quality and quantity, and prices, my spousal unit and I shall return minus Groupon. I am looking forward to not being restricted by Groupon to the classic italian menu. Thanks, Pacers. You are awesome.

A bunch of hungry swimmers and their families went to Clays for lunch. To start, our waitress was incredibly good; very attentive and seemed to effortlessly anticipate our needs. Now for the food, we ordered sandwiches, quesadillas, pizza, wings, salads and all were excellent. The fries were perfectly cooked. Everyone enjoyed their meals. There were at least five items that I wanted to try on the menu but I tried the quesadilla. It was perfectly grilled. Save room for ice cream. They serve Hersheyâs ice cream and one scoop is really two scoops. The turtle sundae was amazing. In sum we had a great experience. For 4 people, the bill was $58, which may sound high but for the quality of food/dessert and service, I was happy to pay it.
We were in Thornville to deliver some donations to the local "Thornville Clothes Closet" and stopped at Fire House Pizza for dinner. My friends have been here before and they highly recommended it.I wasn't disappointed. The waitress was exceptionally pleasant and efficient; the restaurant was clean and bright and the overall experience was excellent. My friends split a 15" pizza (1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 sweet Italian sausage with banana peppers). It looked delicious and they said it was excellent. I had the 9" double Italian sub and it was one of the best subs I've had in recent times.Fire House Pizza will definitely be on my list the next time I'm in the vicinity of I-70 and Route 13 -- the Thornville area.

We had eaten at Pizza Cottages before but not this particular one. We were pleasantly surprised by the live music and great service to go with the always good food. Highly recommended
Just dont understand why a great place was trashed.this was once the place since about 1976. Recently our visit found different ingrediantes of poor quality the love was totally gone from this place i understand new owners tock it over and are trying to overexpand this to the obvious extent of ruining everything from this once fabulus bissiness
We drove over and were lucky to find parking as the parking situation can be difficult. They had live music that was god sitting outside and the outdoor area is relaxing. Great place to have drinks and maybe an appetizer like the "penny chips" that were good. Overall though the food was average compared to other places on the lake. The indoor area including the restrooms needs remodeled badly but most seasonal places on the lake are similar. Nice people on the staff and a good overall experience.

Our third visit to this pizza restaurant. Pizza is very good thin-crust fare. Loaded with toppings. Pepperoni is spicy and crispy. Mushrooms taste fresh. Service was good. Located in a strip mall which makes Ambiance nothing special â Just a big open room but freshly painted and clean. Beer is super cold. Side salad is big enough to split. Will definitely return.
