I used to go the one in Thomaston, but since I moved to Bristol I wa shappy to see one so close. I have gotten delivery which wasn't to bad considering it was a sunday night & we ordered 2 entrees & a calzone. their sauce is really good. I wouldn't recommend the calamari for take out as it becomes soggy even with a short travel. the chicken marasala is delish! HUGE portion and I have enough for dinner & lunch the next day. the antipasto salad is also good & hearty. would recommend for entrees, not a huge fan of the pizza though.

They make a fantastic pizza with a thin fresh crust, just the right amount of sauce and a generous layer of tasty cheese. Their specialty pizzas are super creative and perfectly cooked. But the best thing to try is the falafel. Go in for a relaxing meal in a casual, small town, homey, environment staffed with attentive and kind servers.

Best pizza in CT! Grew up with this pizza and it is amazing. Cute restaurant too. Love square cut pizza - you can avoid crusts!

This was our first time eating here. They offer a large menu-pizzas, salads, sandwiches, entrees, pasta dishes, soups and dessert. We ordered a medium cheese pizza with mushrooms, a large tossed salad with grilled chicken and chicken orzo soup. Bread was included with the meal. All the portions were generous. We had leftovers which we brought home. Everything was freshly cooked and tasted very good. In addition we had very attentive service.

During a soccer tournament this weekend we had less than 2 hours between games so we decided to order pizza for the girls. We ordered 2 party pizzas and salad. I thought we ordered too much but everything went. Everyone loved the pizza. Will definitely keep this in mind if we are in the area again. Just a note you need to order the party pizza gthe day before - worth it!!
Hungry after a long day of cleaning a relative's apartment, we spontaneously pulled off the road at Route 6 Pizza ... the "Grand Opening" sign was still on the building, although it's been open for six months. The place is small and spotless. We were greeted by three very friendly young men, and had a nice time chatting with them while our pizza (medium, sausage, onion, mushroom) was prepared. The restaurant carries Boar's Head products; makes salads, sandwiches, grinders, and some nice desserts (baklava, carrot cake, cheesecake, etc.) We took the pizza back to our hotel and really enjoyed the delicious, thin, crispy crust; very fresh sausage, cheese and mushrooms; and nicely balanced sauce. Will definitely go back when we are in the area again!

We ordered roast beef grinders and they were the worst grinders we ever had. Pizza crust was chewy and the pizza was extremely greasy! The Stromboli was just as greasy and gross! Extremely extremely disappointed!!
Family Owned & Operated since 1983. Serving Pizza, Pasta, Grinders, Calzones, Salads & Dinners. Casual environment. Great place for family dinners & small parties. Formerly known as Charlie's Pizza.
Hilltop is a family friendly restaurant, where the food is always delicious and the wait staff is always very friendly. Their portions are large, so ask the wait staff first how large an item is before ordering. If you do order something that is more then you can eat, the good news is that the food is great as left overs, as well!
Not only do they have the best pizza but their take out dinners are great. Last time I got the vegetarian pizza and I loved it. I never had such a good tasting veggie pizza. This is not a sit down restaurant. This is an order and pick up place.
