Found restaurant on TA, reviews all positive, walked in @6 pm,quickly seated, friendly and helpful staff.Ordered a couple of glasses of house white, olives, and prosciutto melon as entree.Mains of sardine puttanesca with salad - delicious and flavourful, with a spaghetti marinara with extra olives and capers, again delicious.Restaurant began to fill quickly, obviously popular with locals, as it is accessed up narrow and steep stairs. We are a British take on the traditional Italian artisan style pizza, cooked in our wood-fired oven. Service is of an informal style, in a relaxed setting. Our pizzas have a selection of your 'old school' favourites plus 'new school' pizzas which are a fa
It's really rare to come across a real pizza place that does good GF pizza . Well, this one does, and its ace! From the entire pizza menu there were only 3 toppings I couldn't have, which meant I had to pick from 11 choices, which was tricky on it's own - I eventually went for the Meaty Special. Seeing that I travel with work, and that I get sick to death of limited hotel food, this was a very pleasant change. Great service and a nice relaxed but busy atmosphere. I would have no hesitation in coming back

Mamma Rosa is a quaint restaurant set in a Victorian house. The ambience is warm, cosy and intimate. The restaurant is set on 2 floors, the first floor has more space allowing parties to be catered for. Toilets are also located on the first floor. Wheelch
Had a lovely meal here on our first visit last Saturday. Very impressed with the quality of food, decor and service. Itâs a little pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Will definitely return.

This restaurant has a few tables but is mostly take out service. We had the pizza which was served hot, with the right seasonings.Cook/server had a great sense of humor.

Family run business been going since 1989, fresh mouth watering dishes bursting with flavours. All our ingredients are from local supplier's, if it's a lovely atmosphere along with great food that yourAfter Virgilio 's is for you. Every one is welcome
This is by far the best restaurant we have in the area. Food is always excellent as is the service and ambiance. No matter what night or the week itâs always busy - best to book a table in advance. Excellent choice of gluten free dishes available on the menu , and the owner took his time to explain what I could and couldnât eat. This time we shared the meat on the skewers - simply delicious . They even recommended another good GF restaurant in the area. Already looking forward to coming back soon.

Thin, artisan pizzas with classic and modern flavoured wood-fired pizzas with exceptional beers from 4 North Wales breweries
Having frequented other Johnny Dough establishments including the one in Llandudno, we were pleasantly surprised to see one in Conwy too.We received a warm welcome from the waitress on arrival who quickly brought us menus and some drinks. Our pizzas were delivered in no time and were fresh and very tasty. The tables and chairs are a little basic, but that didn't really mar our enjoyment of the food.

This place doesnât have much curb appeal but the smell exuding from the place drew us in. Itâs like stepping back in time to the 1980âs, the tired and drab furniture and wood-chip wallpaper was almost masked by cool green lighting. As the saying goes, you canât judge a book by its cover. The food was superb, fresh and well cooked with relatively short wait times considering it was so busy. The accompanying wine menu - of which it also looked about 30 years old was something youâd find in a local cafe, however another book not to judge - the wines were great! Iâm so torn writing this as we had a fab meal delivered by fab staff! Thatâs why you get 4 stars. If I had any feedback for the owners Iâd say - keep doing what youâre doing in the kitchen but (and Iâm not sure they want to be around for long to be honest) invest in the fabric of your dining experience, complacency can kill a business and it will only take a big or new Italian with new and clean lines to take a lions share of your business - that would be a shame!
