I didn't realize it till recently but the Pizza Chef has a large and also a family size which is much larger than the large size. It's all we get now. For the size, the price is good and the pizza is very good as well. It's the go to pizza shop in town.

Ziggys is the only pizza place between Bradford and Newport. Itâs OK. The calzones are doughy with too much greasy cheese filling. I called them heartburn pockets. They have a number of interesting salads, but why they serve them in plastic takeout bowls is beyond me?! Mine was not quite right, but Iâve had worse. You know, boring type lettuce...With a little more effort it could be decent rather than just acceptable.I guess with the tourists around the lake they probably do pretty well so maybe they donât have to try.I donât think I would eat there again, I prefer SUNA, just west half a mile.

While staying in the Sunapee area we were looking for a place to have dinner on a Monday night. Village Pizza was not our first choice but our first choice was closed on Mondays and frankly our 2nd and 3rd choices were also closed. We were looking for something a little more upscale, but in the end everything worked out nicely. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I was a little concerned when I asked if the lasagna was made in house and the response was "No it's Stouffers but we put our homemade sauce on top of it". I skipped the lasagna and ordered spaghetti and meatballs (no the meatballs are not house made but they were okay). The sauce was very tasty. Dad ordered the special, I think it was called Jerry's (I know it was a man's name) which was full of meat over spaghetti and baked in the oven. He said it was very good. The salads were fresh. A friend had the chicken parmesan and said it was good. I saw pizzas delivered to other tables that looked very good. They do a huge take out business which tells me that locals love the place. It wasn't too crowded, but it took a little while to get our food. You go up to the counter to order, but then the food is delivered to your table.

Went here for a quick lunch. The place is nice. It is in the side rear of a building / strip mall. The person taking the order was nice. Calzones are really good and you get a lot, maybe two lunches worth. In any case if in New London and looking for a great lunch, Pizza Chef is a place to go.
