Absolutely beautiful food.Cooked perfectlyHot and very tasty.Staff are very polite Best takeaway in Whitehaven by farWill return as always
Apprehensive at first to eat here, but worked out really well. Service was swift, orders were perfect. Atmosphere was pleasant along with décor which was very crisp and trendy.Food was excellent. Good portion size, seasoning and spices better than next door! Will have to try one of those jam jar cocktails next time.

Family orientated Italian restaurant with a traditional wood fired pizza oven, friendly service, and fresh food on the edge of the Lake District!
This place had some good reviews so we had high expectations. The main courses were reasonable, good textures although flavours a little bit on the bland side. We planned on sharing a cheesecake for dessert but it was a bit rubbish (the base was as thick as the topping) so we didnât fight over it.I think the overall experience could have been improved considerably with a bit of staff training with emphasis on the customer perspective and including:If someone orders mineral water, donât assume they want gas in it.If somebody orders wine, especially an expensive one, bring it to the table to check itâs what the customer ordered and then open it at the table - do not bring a bottle to the table thatâs already opened.Either hand out the menus or at least place the menus in front of each diner â donât throw a pile of them on the table and then just walk away hoping they didn't knock drinks over.Everything a bit complacent and we think if there was more competition in the area they would struggle a bit.
I can't believe no one has written a review already. We stopped here after a day out and it has an unbelievable 2-4-1 on pizzas for less than £8! It almost sounds too good to be true. We did however have two very delicious pizzas which were just right, cooked to perfection and used real chicken. Would definitely recommend.

Created in September 2018, Dave & Louise spent 2 months renovating the building, stripping it back to reveal the original stone walls and original flooring, with the aim to create a charming and relaxing retreat in the heart of Whitehavenâs Market Place. I
Cool bar with a wonderful choice of unusual draught and bottled beers. An extensive range of Gins (of course) and cocktails. Thereâs also a good choice of spirits, so if gin isnât your thing thereâs plenty to choose from. Food platters of charcuterie and cheese and nachos are to die for. Relax after your food playing a board game with your friends. Well recommended.Hi,many thanks for your lovely review, itâs greatly appreciated. Well you said it all...it's a great place to relax and chat and drink and eat and play board games... Make sure you come back soon!Regards, Louise & Dave

Right in the heart of this beautiful, historic harbour town in a Georgian townhouse lies Casa a Roma Italian Restaurant. Bring your family or friends & join us for a homemade lunch from £5.95, Early evening 'Happy Hour' menu of 1,2 or 3 courses for £7.50,
Ducked in here with the other half. A nicely presented and cozy Italian restaurant. We grabbed a focaccia starter and a penne positano main each. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. My other half enjoyed the Italian wine, they also had draught beer available. Two very pleasant waitresses greeted/served us. Wanted to go back during our stay in the Lakes but sadly did not have time. Would eat at this place every day if I were local.

Just off the harbour Near Duncan Square
Every dish we ate was excellent. Menu is far more than typical pub food. A bouillabaisse that could grace a high-end restaurant, at a price that suggests the ingredients came ashore on the boats you can see through the window. Fine selection of craft beers. Hope the owners donât read this but their prices donât begin to reflect the quality of the cuisine. Worth coming to Whitehaven just for this.
