Reviews on Pizza food in Split, Dalmatia, Croatia. The largest city on the Adriatic Coast, seaside delight Split has been under Roman, Venetian, Austrian, French, Italian and Yugoslav control. There is an abundance of restaurants and wine cellars. Sites such as Diocletian's Palace and Mausoleum, the Grgur Ninski Statue and the Cathedral and Bell Tower of St. Domnius justify its position as a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. The city's coves offer several lovely beaches, including central Bacvice. Ferries link Split to Dalmatian summer resorts.

This is located a bit out of the historical center and looks a bit shady. But we gave it a shot and it totally surprised us. The staff was friendly. The pizza were cheap, delicious and baked in an stone oven. Inside the restaurant it was cosy.

Visited here last week and so glad we did. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had soup to start then we both had the steak cooked on the stone. Could not fault it for flavour plus price. Highly recommend

We use authentic, locally sourced ingredients to create both modern and classic style dishes from across the Mediterranean, combined with a wide range of quality wines to compliment your meal.
Walked in through City Entrance ( Big Statue ), young lady offering Menu just inside- polite , not pushy:First left and we entered an atmospheric courtyard: Restaurant on the left , checked out the Menu and another delightful Lady explained the menu .We were ready to eat and picked a table :My Wife had a risotto and I had a Chicken Dish : Both were great with a couple of beers: Service was great and two coffees and Gelato complimented the meal nicely: Pleasantly priced and would come again:Recommend definitely:

My husband and I were on a holiday in Split and had been on a day trip to Dubrovnik getting back quite late. After a quick shower and a pre dinner drink at a local bar we went here for a pizza. We also ordered a salad and were most impressed that it was delivered with our pizza as we have been to so many places that have brought it out first. We like to eat salad with our pizzas.Great meal and service was spot on.Dear Suehawthorn, thank you for your time dedicated to share your experience at Portas! Glad to know the service provided has been excellent this is surely the standards we set and aim to achieve. We strive to excel in guest satisfaction and provide our guests with a memorable experience. We hope to host you again soon! With great regards.

Bokamorra is everyone's dream concept, the first fine dining pizzaurant. New Pizza & Cocktails Couture experience in a beautiful designed setting.
As a pizza lover I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant when my husband and I visited Split in the summer. This is not a fancy place but serves up good honest food. Our waiter looked dumbstruck when I ordered a portion of chicken wings with sauches to go with my pizza - OK I intended it as a starter - not to accompany the pizza but not much wonder when the food arrived! So lived up to expectations.
