Casa Italia Ristorante is one of Southportâs longest-established eateries, serving the people of Southport for over 40 years. A popular, authentic Italian restaurant with a great atmosphere, known for our fresh ingredients, generous portions and the best
been to Southpor many times but always dined at Volare restaurant on Lord St. however sue to hloidays it was closed so decided to try Casa Mia , wis we had not, we chose the 2 dishes menu, the calamari although nicely cooked were served on a bit of salad with a very tiny slice of lemon and a large slice of orange?? the pasta was cooked to perfection but the sauce was bland no taste even worse were the meatballs, absolutely no taste of any salt /pepper or herbs, tiramisu i was not impressed with, the espresso coffee was not even creamy as i like it and as a matter of fact I make a better one at home with my espresso machine that uses pods, but the straw that broke the camels back was the price for two little glasses of limoncello at £4 a shot, i actually had a bottle of it in my camper which i buy from Asda for £13.50, very disappointed and as an Italian i will never set foot in there again.

Last minute decision, so pleased Salvatore could fit us in. Had an amazing night. Set menu with something for each of us (4) Possibly the best fillet steak weâve eaten. Such a party atmosphere, great entertainment, a cascade of balloons at midnight, a wonderful end to 2018 and a welcome to 2019.Whatever the occasion, would highly recommend this place. Itâs not fast food itâs great, fresh food served how you like it, and plenty of it. Excellent value always

Gusto Trattoria has been providing delicious freshly cooked Italian cuisine since 2005. Our restaurant's contemporary ambience and imaginative dishes have elevated us to the top of many diners' preferred restaurant lists.Whether you are eating in our main
This is an excellent little Italian restaurant. The food is quite delicious , well-presented , and the portion sizes suited us perfectly. The waitresses are very friendly , helpful , and competent. I had the special poached salmon with fettuccine verde , which was so tasty. Absolutely brilliant.Thank you

Positives first - the service and food were excellent. And to be fair, it wasnât the restaurantâs fault that diners on nearby table for 7 were loud and arguing about religion amongst other things. It totally spoiled our evening. Maybe they could consider not putting tables for 2 next to the larger ones as theyâll inevitably be more noisy even when not behaving inappropriately as these were. Not sure weâll risk going back which is a shame because we really like it usually.

Went there twice it was so good, pasta one night and pizza the other. Told other folks in the group and they went and had the same positive experience.

Visisted with hubby for a quick tea out before going elsewhere. There are a variety of menus to choose from but we chose from the main one and had pizza roll bites, garlic bread, calzone pizza and spaghetti carbonara washed down with diet coke and a beer. all served quite quickly as they knew we couldnt linger and all tasted very nice. It wasnt outstanding but it was perfectly fine as were the staff who have either changed or been on a customer service training course!

Found this little gem quite by accident ... literally walked round the corner whilst looking at other menus ... and there it was. We decided to book in later after first checking there were vegetarian options for me as many other local restaurants hadnât got any interesting options. Whilst this may not be the poshest restaurant on Lord street, I can assure you we received the warmest of welcomes and when ordering our food with a Chris I explained I was a fussy veggie because I cook a lot and he assured me I could have whatever veg Iâd like in my pasta sauce. I was not disappointed... the food was lovely, full of fresh flavour and very generous portions. My Hubby was just as happy with his food choices. I canât believe what we have just eaten was a mere £10 per head for 3 courses. Very enjoyable ... will be visiting again before the week is out

Family run restaurant, since open in 2007, has become destination for good food lovers and wine experts. Onofrio goes himself to fish market and deals directly with the finest suppliers of fresh producers and importers from Italy. We make our own desserts
I am going to run out of superlatives! On the eve of a weekend conference my little party escaped to this wonderful Italian restaurant at the end of Southport's Lord Street - indeed, since we were last here a brilliant small "deli" has opened adjacent to the restaurant. Our meals were all excellent, the vino della casa and the service superb. Signora Cinzia and her two young ladies kept us in order and were extremely patient with our stuttering Italian. It is not very often you revisit a restaurant to find it still up to the high standard set in the past. Grazie mille
