Found this gem on South State St in Salt Lake City after googling best pie in Utah. The wait staff are friendly and attentive but not overbearing. Chef Wally took the time to package my dinner up for re-heating in my hotel room. Awesome pie and people!

Had a late lunch and not really hungry enough for dinner. The daughters wanted something sweet and walking distance from the hotel. Searched online for 'best dessert in Salt Lake City and found a recommendation for the Gelato shop inside this Pizzeria. Got some great, great gelato and smelled the enticing aroma of that pizza...and got a whole pie to go! In fact, enjoyed this so much we returned a second time upon our return to Salt Lake four days later at the end of our trip for more gelato.

I have been a customer of Mellow Mushroom for over 20 years in Georgia and Florida and so was very pleased to learn there was a Mellow Mushroom in Salt Lake City. We opted to stop here for dinner after a late afternoon flight arrival and prior to checking in to our hotel in Park City. Pizza must be popular as there are at least 4 other Pizza places within a stones throw of this one. Parking is nearby in an underground garage, however, is FREE as long as you get a validated ticket from your Mellow Mushroom server. I sampled a couple of their beers on tap before selecting the Bohemian. We opted for a version of their Great White (aka White Rabbit in Atlanta) which was actually much better prepared than what I get at my local Mellow Mushroom. We opted for a large so there would be some slices left over for lunch the next day. Definitely on our list again should we return to Park City in the future.Thanks for coming into our location, and leaving a great review! It's always great serving a fellow mellow from out of state. This is a fabulous neighborhood option for pizza and meatballs. Good wine list. Make your own pizza for kids, decent salads and all around friendly good service.We frequent Flatbread about once a month and each visit is happy, friendly and satisfying. We usually order meatballs and pizza and sometimes a salad.....have yet to venture out to other menu items, but all look very good.Thumbs up here :)
