Sittingbourne is an industrial town situated in the Swale district of Kent in south east England, 17 miles (27 km) from Canterbury and 45 miles (72 km) from London. The town sits beside the Roman Watling Street, an ancient British trackway used by the Romans and the Anglo-Saxons and next to the Swale, a strip of sea separating mainland Kent from the Isle of Sheppey. The town became prominent after the death of Thomas Becket in 1170, since it provided a convenient resting point on the road from London to Canterbury and Dover.

This is our local restaurant & we have visited many times & have always found the staff to be nice & the food to be great (much improved from about 4/5 years ago!) visited today with my partner & I have to say Iâm quite disappointed. Our waitress didnât inform my partner that his dinner wouldnât be served with onion rings as they had run out & nor did she offer him an alternative.. I had steak which was very fatty and oily, there was so much water on my plate from the peas (not drained properly) that my chips went soggy.. gross. Mushroom was stone cold. My partner said his âsmokey wingsâ had no taste.. waited ages for our dessert & our waitress was no where to be seen when we was going to pay the bill.. all in all we wished we had stuck to our original plan & gone to McDonaldâs instead. Im hoping our next visit will be better & if itâs not I wonât bother coming again but instead will travel a little further to the five bridges in sheppy.Thanks for the review, I'm sorry that you weren't informed of any products that were unavailable this should have been relayed to you at the time of ordering and a replacement offered, I'm glad to see you will still be returning and hopefully will have a much better time on your next visit

A damp and chilly summer Wednesday evening saw us out for a meal. We booked La Pizzeria and so pleased we did. The restaurant was full! A warm welcome awaited us and the atmosphere was cosy and interesting. The meal was of superb quality made with love and passion. The hand made pizzas fabulous and fully loaded! If you are looking for a excellent quality food, plenty of it too, then look no further.Very clean. Attentive, friendly and helpful waiting staff. Highly recommend this restaurant to you all.
