Reviews on Pizza food in Sighisoara, Transylvania, Romania. The clock tower of Sighisoarais the grand dame of the city, reigning tall and proud from atop a central hill. Founded by Transylvanian Saxons during the 12th century, Sighisoara is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and features well-preserved medieval stone streets and structures. Visit fortified churches, climb the famed Scara Şcolarilor covered staircase, and get goosebumps at the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s terrifying creature, Count Dracula.

The waiter was nice. The pizza was good; however, the added bonus to the ingredients in our pizza was a cooked fly. When I showed the fly to the waiter, the gentleman actually had the nerve to ask me if it was real. I took off my glasses and asked him to look me in the eye and ask me if I look like a liar. Before we left, he did apologize and say he was sorry for the fly. In my humble opinion, if you have a choice of eating at San Gennaro restaurant, I recommend you fly as fast as your feet can run.

Serving slow. Waiters confused orders.Do not order cheese dumplings. Three cocoons boiled, tasteless, covered with cream and blueberry jam.

By far the only and WORST dining experience I have had in Romania. We decided to try something new that looked a little more upmarket we were wrong in doing this. Do not be fooled. From the over inflated prices and limited menu options to the grumpy and unprofessional staff, I cannot express in words my great disappointment for this place. Do yourself a favour and go across the road to La Perla.

Mancare facuta cu grija / Food with care
it was quite a surprise for us, very good service, amazing food, I had ribs and baked potatoes, with a spicy sauce on the side. The upper floor reveals a cozy atmosphere, the wooden boards are a bit too squeaky and it might not be a good idea to visit when the place is packed with kids running around; usually this place hosts live indoor concerts during the weekends and it is quite popular among the locals. Anyway it's the place to be when the outside terrace is closed due the weather. During the summer the service might be a little slow - it's a popular place for tourist, but take your time and enjoy the view. A big thank you for our waitress, very young, polite and attentive, unfortunately don't remember hear name but I think she wears braces, very cute btw

It doesn't look much but there's a huge range of pizzas, terrific soups and nice salads. The toppings on the pizzas are extra generous and they're big too. English spoken. Helpful staff. And it's located right at one of the main carparks.

If you are in hurry and you have to eat in SighiÈoara it is an option.Inside the restaurant is ok but the terace is not quite so good.It is half covered but you can smoke there. The food is average and home's pizza for my taste wasn't very tasty.Personal is very kind.

Restaurant - Pizzeria Venezia awaits you in a pleasant ambiance and services will be available with its very good quality . Whether you want to enjoy a pizza or traditional Romanian dishes served , the restaurant Venice is the ideal location .
Large meals, you will be full and maybe have leftovers to take home as well. You won't be impressed in how it looks, it's a real typical Romanian Kitsch place. It's not close the the citadel, but we didn't have any problems with our gps Maps. The drive to the restaurant actually showed us the other part of Sighisoara. As a restaurant in present-day Romania it can't really get any cheaper than this. Only fast-food places are cheaper.

Table is sticky and superficially cleaned. We asked for foccacia and we received pizza base with a terrible tomato sauce. Waiters have difficulties understanding the requests.

I was 2 days in Sighisoara with my 7 friends, and we were looking for a nice place to eat, with competitive prices. I totally recommend La Perla, we were there 3 times. Nice and quick service, good pizza, gulash with beans (it is enough for 2persons:) ). Very good papanasi and Ciorba de burta, also mici was delightful and big. Great place to talk and eat not far from the clock tower.
