When coming from the Midwest to visit your uncle, you gotta make sure there is a lot of pizza on tap! My siblings and I have eaten at Pen Argyl Pizza twice in the last few months as we have made our way to eastern PA to visit family. They put out a great pizza and a really nice calzone too. My cousin recommended it, and I am so glad that he did. We will be back, when we are again in E. PA next year. (You guys have friends in Kansas!)

Place is dirty I don't think they ever clean the play stuff. Games almost never work. Almost impossible to get something decent if you do games and tickets unless you spend upwards of $100.00. Pizza is horrible and so is staff some girl last name Davis she used to work at the hot dog place in bville and they closed cause they were gross.

We stopped in the pizza place months ago to ask for directions as we were trying to get to Bangor, PA and the weather conditions were bad. The staff was so helpful that we said that if we were in the area again, we would stop in for something to eat. And we did today. The plain cheese pizza was very good and the bruschetta was excellent. Worth the trip.
Nice blue collar bar and restaurant suggested by someone from the Fireline Hotel. The salad consisted of fresh mixed greens and other accoutrements. The chicken parmesan was tasty and fed me for three days! The bartender and patrons were friendly. Try it. You might like it.

Sal's is great for sandwiches and good Italian food. The very first thing you will notice is that it's very busy. That in itself speaks volumes. Whether dining in our taking food out I'm sure most people will be pleased. Our recent trip we ordered take out, cheese steaks, hoagies and fries. The most impressive thing about the sandwiches were the rolls. They're made from Sal's pizza dough. Different and very good. We also had fries with our takeout which were just your standard fare. We will be making return trips whenever in the area.

Best pizza in the Snydersville/Saylorsburg area. They have been here for at least 25 years and are family owned and operated. The quality has never dropped or changed. We've tried others but never more than once. We always return to Old Mill. It is a standard!!!!!

weather was nice so I ate on the deck. Had a wonderful caprese salad (very fresh), tapas of ravioli in white sauce ( a little spicy from rosemary but good) and a very yummy chocolate cheesecake for desert. I did a solo trip in the country and had a lovely lunch by myself. Restroom can use some work....but deck and grounds were very nice. Winery on site. Will go back.

We actually arrived for the wine tasting next door. We saw some locals leaving the restaurant and I asked them how the food was. They said it was their favorite restaurant in the area! So we took a chance and went inside. The first thing we saw was a bar with four gigantic containers of sangria loaded with fruit. I had the mix berry red and it was loaded with strawberries and raspberries. The salad they brought out was covered with beautiful vegetables and a red raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Yum. They served it with bread covered in Parmesan cheese with the marinara dipping sauce that was out of this world. The bread was so light. The server said they ordered the flour from Italy. The best bread and marinara I ever had!! My sister ordered a eggplant pasta dish and she loved it. I had an Italian sandwich with three Italian meats rolled into thinly rolled pizza dough and baked in the brick oven. It was heavenly. If I lived here, I would be a regular too!! I took lots of pics. Don't miss this place! Worth the drive. And I bought a bottle of great red wine next door.
