To start, this is a 4.5 star review....I wish Trip Advisor had a little more granularity.To start, I am a self proclaimed pizza snob. Pizzeria Rossetti fulfills all my requirements and more. Their thin crust true Italian style pizza is outstanding. As with any first time visit to a pizzeria, the best way to test the skills of the pizza maker is to have the margarita pizza. The simplicity of the pie allows the diner to taste the quality of each element. To start, the thin crust was superb, flavorful, able to withstand the sauce and cheese and cooked to a crusty perfection. The tomato sauce was nicely applied with a fine balance between salty and sweet. The mozzarella was tasty and not heavily applied, allowing the sauce (and basil) to really stand out. A great pie - no need for parmesan even. We also had a calzone with prosciutto and that was also outstanding, with a wonderful salty aftertaste that only prosciutto can provide. The half star off was in regards to the salads. I had the beet salad which looked great (pictures on the site are spot on) but it was a tad bland even with the nice drizzle of olive oil on it A few chunks of quality parmesan could have fixed that easily instead of having to use salt. My wife had the arugala salad which was simple and well done.Service was very nice and prompt and we left thinking we would be back for sure (only we live in LA...bub). The meal left us with quite a few leftovers (the calzone was huge) so we're going to enjoy the food again not too long from now!

This has to be the best kept secret in Sausalito! Great pizza and cheap drinks a stone's throw from the ferry! We live in the area and an affordable place to eat in Sausalito is a rarity! (also see Bayside Cafe)

When you get tired of Rocco's, go to Dario's with a coupon. The dine-in is sort of quaint too. Not too many good pizza joints left.

Food was good and priced fairly. Service was excellent and we were there on a Sunday night in April. Location lends itself to going for a walk after your meal or perhaps some shopping prior. Lot's of other choices in the area as well if your winging it last minute and trying to find a spot. We were winging it and called ahead a few hours earlier when we knew we would be in the area during dinner time. I want to put in a bunch of descriptive words here but bottom line is we were from far away and yet felt very comfortable here, like we'd been here before. The staff are part of that but it is more and a combination of all the things people are normally looking for. We had Pizzas and they really tasted good - all fresh ingredients.However, this place is too small and cramped up. Though the food was great but having a relaxing experience while eating was missing. I felt like hurrying into my meal as I people were waiting for tables to clean up.If empty, do go ahead and try this place out.

We arrived at Aurora on a Tuesday evening, only one or two tables occupied. Hostess made tables for our large group and we were seated promptly. Our orders were taken and water filled for the most part. A couple of kids didn't get water but as soon as it was brought to our waiter's attention the glass was filled. For the most part our group went with the basics, pizza, ravioli spaghetti and lasagna. Every thing came out fairly quickly, was piping hot. Waiters were attentive and did an excellent job taking care or our large group. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food. Thank you Aurora. We will be back.

Hip place by the water in Sausalito. Very good pizza and drinks at this place and the service was excellent. Decent menu selections and a very nice atmosphere overall. This place is close to the shopping street and ferry terminal. Varied seating options, from bar style tables, to regular tables and also an interesting comunal arrangement around some sort of fire pit in the middle. seems like a pet friendly place as we saw a couple of dogs inside. Recommended if you are in Sausalito. Very nice town by the way

My party of 3 tourists (senior citizens) were tired and hungry on a Wednesday afternoon in July 2019. We walked through downtown Sausalito looking for a restaurant, but all the restaurants had crowds or very high prices. Then we found Venice Pizza. We sat indoors, which was hot and poorly ventilated on this sunny July afternoon. But the pizza pie was good and after sitting for a while we felt more comfortable. And after eating the good food, we felt great. I am glad we found an affordable lunch spot. Good experience.
