An awesome pizzeria, the best pizza available in Tavarnelle. You can chose between a whole pizza or a pizza by the slice, with a wide variety of toppings. Good prices, nice people, it worth a visit!

Weâve just paid our third visit to La Fornace, and it was as good as ever. The biggest problem is deciding what to order, there is so much choice on the menu.Hope to return before the end of our holiday.

My wife and I have had the pleasure of staying near Tavernelle for the past 3 months and L'Archibugio has been another go to restaurant for us. The pizzas are great, very thin crust, almost cracker like. They have an extensive menu with various seafood offerings. Also there are traditional pasta dishes making this restaurant appeasing to most people. On a few occasions we ordered pizzas for take out, perfect for those days of wine tasting and big lunches. The staff is very friendly but I just felt like I couldn't really connect with the owner. He is nice enough but not all that welcoming compared to the other restaurant owners in the area. But will definitely return when we come back in 2020.

Pasta and Pizza is conveniently located on Via Chiantigiana (SR222) in Panzano. After a day of touring wineries, we were looking for a quick bite. We arrived at 6:30 pm, and although the door was open, we were told we couldnât be served until 7 pm. We continued on our way to Greve, hungry and thirsty.

We happened upon Cafe' Bijou while exploring the village...trying to find a place for lunch for 9 is not always easy.. we were immediately offered seating on the street or in the garden..both with lovely views. We took Giulio's recommendation on antipasto and pizza and were not disappointed! if you are in the area this is a hidden gem!

We happened upon La Cantina by chance. We werenât very hungry, but we were charmed by the casual gentleman we came to hear was the âBoss Man.â He gave me a fist bump, and then gave us a nice table inside. We were treated to wine and appetizers (and later, dessert) on the house, and enjoyed cocktails and our delicious meals, and had a lovely time.

The restaurant is very busy, better make a reservation before show up.Seating area is small, 3 of us had to squeeze in a small corner.Service was ok not too bad but food was great!!Someone told me the pizzas are also fine, however we didn't try.

Need I say more, best meal of the trip. The food, service, ambiance, wine and overall experience was just perfect. Could not fault anything. It's been a while since I've gone somewhere, tried 5 different dishes and couldn't fault any. The Syrah Canaio wine was superb. I wish I could go back tomorrow

We spent six nights in San Donato and returned to di Ciccino for pizza three nights. The proprietor/cook and his wife who was waitresses were delightful, friendly, helpful and so welcoming. It is a very busy restaurant so you need a reservation most evenings. Each pizza is individually made and cooked separately to order so sometimes it seems like you are waiting but it is so worth it. The clientele is both local and tourists and the atmosphere is great, you eat outside (weather permitting) in the center of the old city. Prices are reasonable and you have salads and antipasto on the menu in addition to pizza calzones and dolce. A fun place to eat and the pizza is absolutely delicious with a thin, crispy crust and lots of topping.Yumâ£ï¸
