I´m having very mixed feelings about this place, sometimes you get excellent food for a reasonable amount of money, the next time around, the food will be less good and you´ll end up paying much more, even though eating pretty much the same food. Eg, sometimes you´ll be charged coperto even for babies and small children, sometimes it´ll be for free and also the water served (which you have to pay for everywhere else). There are better, nearby, places to choose from.

We've eaten here a few times over the years with our Vinci friends and service has been questionable at best, sometimes ok, sometimes poor. This time however they've taken things to a new low! Firstly it was 20 minutes before being asked for a drink. Then we eventually got to order food some 15 minutes after that, and then we were left waiting another 30 minutes before they eventually served my daughter with a pizza! So she ate alone while we waited, and another 30 minutes passed before my wife's chicken arrived. It was dry and overcooked, and it looked like it had starved to death before being cooked! Basically with hardly any meat on it.... She couldn't eat it, and asked the waitress to take it away. The waitress didn't offer any emotion, just lifted the plate and walked away. Unbelievable! My food NEVER did arrive, NEITHER did an apology! No-one came over to explain even though we tried to get the waiters attention on more than one occasion, and after 1 hour and 30 minutes my anger got the better of me and we decided to leave hungry and frustrated!We stood at the entrance for a few minutes waiting for someone to ask what was wrong and could they help. but all we got was a muffled 'sorry' from the lady serving as she scurried past with plates in her hand. At that point we started to leave. The manager eventually came over to our car, and we told him how bad his service was, and offered to pay for the drink and pizza. He refused and tried to offer a pathetic apology, so we left never to return. It's 2018 not 1918, and service, food quality and customer expectations have changed. This place needs to learn a massive lesson in how to look after people properly, communicate effectively and how to offer good food and service.

Since we had pizza to lunch, we wanted something else in the evening, but since most reviews for this restaurant mentioned the pizza, and we came at 19:15 a monday evening and there were no guests we were a little sceptical.But we ordered some steaks and they were marvellous. The dessert were fine too and the staff were friendly. And when we left the restaurant there were other guests too.

Upon reading trip advisor reviews we sought out dinner on our way home from a long day of touring. This restaurant is tucked in a local neighborhood away from the tour spots. The restaurant is casual and food was excellent and unbelievably reasonable in price! Though the owner and waitress didn't speak English very well or at all, we were able to communicate just fine. Driving from Florence to our rented House near Castelnuova di Garfagna. Feeling hungry so look for advice at Tripadvisor. Near the A11! Lovely restaurant. Waiter and waitress very nice people. We ate here with friends on our first night at this campsite. It was so good we ate here the next two nights as well! (Then we were moving on). Good quality Italian restaurant food (not the pizza parlour you might expect on a campsite). Reasonable prices. Excellent service. Great ambience.

Initially we walked down from where we are staying at La Casetta to eat at Pizzeria Victoria. Unfortunately it was closed, no idea why since it is a Tuesday evening at 8pm. But I'm so glad it was! Da Marcellino was open and full of happy Italian families enjoying gigantic pizzas and reasonably priced beer. We had the Napoli pizza (anchovies, capers) and Buffalo Bill (tuna and olive), two beers, two coffees and two pieces of a delicious cream filled sponge cake. The bill was â¬33.50 including a â¬2 service charge. Best pizza we've had during our 9 day road trip in Italy. Highly recommend.

We approached the restaurant and waited for a few minutes before a lady came to us and yelled "COMPLETE"!!! The restaurant was not even a quarter full but she walked away before we could even respond. We were left feeling rejected and would not suggest anyone giving them any business.m sorry for the way you treated our employees, we had many problems with the new staff .

Had dinner here because it was convenient. Setting is very comfortable and relaxed. Food is very OK, but definitely not of any culinary grade. Portions are quite plentiful. Pricing for us a bit above the quality of the food but well compensated by the setting. Wines are very good and more than satisfying at an attractive price.
