If you saw Chevy Chase's masterpiece European Vacation, you'll recognize Stonehenge's massive formation. (As a citizen of the world, you should recognize Stonehenge anyway.) The prehistoric stone circle is eight miles from Salisbury, and its visitors provide a boost to the local economy. With a history dating back over 5,000 years, there is no shortage of significant places to visit in and around Salisbury. On the "must see" list are Salisbury Cathedral, Longleat and Stourhead gardens (and Stonehenge, of course).

We love all things craft. Craft beers, local ales, premium cocktails, live sport, late nights & Good times
Great quick service & very reasonably priced food! We went Tuesday & got these two HUGE burgers for £6 each! Staff are always very friendly and the environment is casually smart, so it feels like a treat but you're comfortable & at ease. Perfect all rounder :)

We produce mouth watering artisan wood fired pizzas. We use authentic Italian ingredients because maintaining Italian traditions is at the heart of what we do. I trained alongside an Italian pizzaiolo with 25 years experience and it shows in our product.
Weâre firm Slinky Fox fans as the service, friendly staff and gorgeous food are second to none. Iâve had pizza, meatballs, chilli and a sweet pizza that still makes my mouth water just thinking about it from the team and they have all been amazing. You will not find a better pop up meal in the area - and when they are at Dark Revolutions Tap Rooms - itâs a perfect night out with family, friends, as a couple or just solo. I canât speak highly enough of the team either - helpful, friendly and always willing to go the extra mile - Kay is a brilliant leader!Make the effort and visit - you will not be disappointed

An Italian Grill in the heart of Salisbury City Centre. Enjoy a selection of pizza, pasta and grill options over looking the Market Square.
Fantastic friendly restaurant, a little spartan in decor but the quality of the food and the wine were superb. The service was intermittent, attentive at times and then when you needed something there was no-one attending to you. The food portions were very generous which made up for the wait in ordering and trying to get extra drink rounds; and the staff were very attentive when they were with you; perhaps they were down on headcount that night?

Located just a few minutes' walk from the stunning Salisbury Cathedral, as well as only a 20 minute drive from Stonehenge, Zizzi Salisbury is the perfect spot to refuel after a day of sightseeing. Our Salisbury restaurant also features an open pizza oven,
Our first visit in quite a while. Our last was before the novichok trauma. The restaurant was always a good bet for lunch and so it proved again this time. The outside has been smartly repainted but the interior looked about the same.We started our lunch by sharing some tasty garlic bread. Peroni was quaffed with enthusiasm. The 5 of us then enjoyed our various pizzas. 2 of us each ordered a pizza rustica having forgotten just how gigantic they are, served on a huge wooden trencher. It was too much really but we both finished. No room for pud after that.Friendly and efficient service and we were able to use some vouchers.
