Visited for my friend's birthday and we absolutely loved it. It is really quaint and has really delicious, authentic Italian food on offer.
I have often walked past this place and on first impressions,Luvly Jubbly, looks very uninviting bordering scruffy. We gave it a go last week, service was quick and the food hot however my chicken kebab wrap was caked in sauce and very soggy too....these places can never nail chips often sending out sad looking soggy fries which we received.....my family all enjoyed their food but me not quite so......food was cheap however i will not be returning.Maybe trigger was in the kitchen!!?? The VesuviO Restaurant & Bar has been the Ciampi family business since 1987 where it originally opened in Clapham, Bedfordshire and in November 2006 it relocated to the new site, still serving our excellent traditional English and Italian cuisine. VesuviO

We were really looking forward to a meal at this restaurant last night. We got a warm welcome and told who would be serving is. After being shown to our table we sat and waited, and waited, and waited. We were completely ignored for about 15 minutes. We watched the waitresses chatting with the chef and wandering around but not one approached us to see whether we wanted a drink or to order. We got up, walked out and went to a neighbouring restaurant where the service and food were excellent. Considering what Pizza Express are going through financially at the moment this was pretty poor. Such a shame.

Had another perfect takeaway from here last night - cheese and onion garlic bread (Devine) cannelloni, gnocchi & bolognese - all very generous portions and delicious and authentic.Deserts were excellent too - fudge cake, carrot cake and lemon cheesecake- delivered quickly and very reasonably priced!

Zizzi is inspired by the love of Italian food and design. Our menu offers a wide range of Italian inspired dishes balancing well known classics with new and creative flavours to discover.
Visited with my husband and son on Saturday evening. We booked a table for 7.15pm, on arrival there was quite a queue in the porch area, we went into the restaurant and were shown to our table which unfortunately was right next to the door, this resulted in thoughtless people standing right in front of our table. On women stood do close that if my husband had been eating her handbag would have been in his food!!! The restaurant feels very hemmed in and the chairs are very uncomfortable. Not a great start. We noticed a table near us had become free so we asked to be moved, we also pointed out that we had been seated for over 10 minutes and no one had approached us to offer water or drinks. We eventually got moved, unfortunately the chairs were the same! My husband wanted to order the pork belly which we were informed by our waitress was not available, it would have been nice to have been told the when we were first given the menus. My food was nice, but both my husband and son were disappointed with the quality of their meals. My husband ordered the lemon meringue sundae which was the smallest sundae we have ever seen, we had to laugh! The bill came to £98 which was very expensive for the quality and service we experienced. AVOID there are much better places to spend your money!

Purchased three pizzas on Friday. Have to say, quality has gone down a bit since my last review. Have noticed prices have increased (still reasonable value compared to Dominos up the road), however the toppings are more difficult to find, on the seafood pizza, the anchovies are now non-existent!!! Plenty of tomato sauce and cheese, but I guess these are the cheaper ingredients. Also ordered meat and chicken pizzas - both of which again, toppings were scarce. More worrying was the fact that I experienced a stomach ache for the last two days since eating the pizzas, something I have not experienced before. On this basis, this will be my last visit I am afraid.

Dropped in tonight for a couples meal before the cinema . No booking but got seated. Service throughout was excellent - thanks Daniela - food was good and speedy. Unfortunately the toilets were not up to the same standard as the rest - dirty , and dusty around the lights . They lose a star for this , could have been more . Outside of that - good experience .

Dropped in to this great little restaurant on a Wednesday night. I expected it to be quite empty but was pleasantly surprised to see a lot of people dining here mid-week, and no wonder! I was shown to a table, and the service throughout the night was perfect, attentive but not overbearing. All the staff were friendly and smiling. My meal was delightful. I can recommend the calamari, and I then had a pizza cooked to order. The base was perfect, and the toppings cooked to perfection! Overall I found this to be a great place to eat some authentic Italian dishes, well cooked, and beautifully presented.Prices are very reasonable - I will be going back soon!
