Ich kann mich nicht erinnern, jemals eine bessere Pizza gegessen zu haben...!?! Hammer! Ob das am Teig liegt... dem Holzkohleofen... Keine Ahnung. Auf jeden Fall sind die Pizzen super lecker. Dazu gibt es Knofi und scharf zum drüber träufeln. TOP! Auch die Salate, die mit dem Pizzataxi am Wochenende im Minutenrhythmus den kleinen Laden verlassen- sehen top aus und man denkt: okay, Vegetarier wäre also doch kein Problem. Kleines Manko: es gibt ein paar Stehtische mit Hockern... zum gemütlich Verweilen ist die Pizzeria also eher nicht gedacht. Aber, wer gut sitzen und weniger lecker essen möchte, der geht halt woanders hin...

This cosy little restaurant offers quite a good menu including various pizzas and pastas. We were given a warm welcome upon arriving and the service felt attentive but not overbearing. For mains we ordered the Diavolo pizza and the Lasagne, both were very good and were decently priced. The tirimisu that I had for dessert was delicious. In total the meal (for two) with dessert (for one) plus drinks came to under â¬30. Would definately recommend and if staying in the area (we were staying in the Airport Mercure which was just up the road) it's not too difficult to get to on bus, on foot or by car.

A very nice, warm and good place in Ratingen for couples, family and friends. Anyway this place is not large for big group but its Pizza's are great and delicious in Italian recipe with thin bread and acceptable price.If you need to have drink, you can order it from other branch in the front of it in the other street side.

Nothing special about La Pineta. Just off the market place and does have an outside terrace area for al fresco dining. Food OK, but middle of the road. Nothing to write home about. Germany has 80% Italian restaurants so nothing wrong with being run of the mill!

We ordered the standard Italian fare. Pizza brotchen, tagliatelle with housemade pesto sauce and a Diavolo Pizza. We ordered it all to go and it was ready in about 20 minutes. It is not superior Italian food nor is it terrible. I'd call it just average. The outdoor seating looks like the place to go as it was very crowded.

Somehow, we have only just discovered Simon's event though it is only a very short walk from where we have lived for twenty years. The menu is basically Italian and features all the standards, but there is also a very interesting weekly menu of specials such as game ravioli with sage butter and vegetables, and gurnard (Roter Knurrhahn) with sun dried tomatoes, capers, olives and spaghetti aglio olio. We especially like the "Klein aber fein" menu of small dishes which make an excellent tapas-style dinner. My top recommendation is the charcuterie and cheese platter: accompanied by a bottle of excellent Metzger Duett wine it makes an excellent light dinner.

Was staying in town during anuga and found this little pizza place before heading to the airport. Great little place. Friendly staff that made a nice pizza.
