OK, it looks like a fast food joint next to the highway, near Radford University campus. It's a favorite of students for a reason. Big pizza, big flavor, not a lot of dough (hehe). Simple and great.
UsuAlly eat dominos but wanted to try something different. First, the order was late by 7 minutes...not a big deal but the truth. The waffle fries were overcooked and the pizza was undercooked. The breadsticks were dry. The meal wasn't awful but wasn't great. The parking lot is not lit real well. I will be eating at other pizza places before I eat at this location again.
the pizza was really good. I found after 2 slices the pretzel salt was a bit much to eat all at once. I would order it again for sure. the employees were friendly as well.

Ordered some pizza yet again, it's fast, the delivery person is friendly, and pizza was good. A convenient way to get food when you don't want to go out.
I'm usually a dominos fan but we wanted to try something different. We ordered online and picked it up ourselves. The pizza was awful. I couldn't hardly find the toppings and the cheese just slid right off the bread. We ordered breadsticks and they were so overcooked they were literally hard to eat and awful. I thought paying more for pizza and breadsticks would make them better, but I hate to say it but a cheaper pizza from dominos is much much better. Will never order from here again.
Pizza made fast, fresh, and huge! First time here at this location. Ordered 2 slices not knowing how big they were. You can totally just have one. My only complaint is there were no napkins anywhere...I mean anywhere. Not a patron in the place had them either. Get some napkins please!

Visited on a Saturday night. We had a large group and had excellent service. The food was excellent. I have dined at Sal' Jr. and Sal's. Both are good. I do like the more intimate experience at Sal's Jr. The prices are very reasonable. We are all we could and should consume in a meal for about $15 a person.

We were visiting Radford for the night and I had a craving for pizza (had to be gluten-free) and my husband wanted traditional Italian. Did a little search on TripAdvisor and found Sal's. It is as good as the reviews say! The little strip shopping center it is in is being remodeled right now, but don't let that turn you away. It is surprisingly large inside and very nicely decorated. The service was excellent, and the menu is huge! Bread and dipping oil is brought to your table to keep you satisfied while you try to decide what dinner to eat. My gluten-free pizza with sausage, onions, and green peppers was much larger than I expected for a medium and very, very tasty. My husband had gnocchi and said it was excellent, too. I highly recommend this restaurant.
