We have been to Huatulco many times and thought we would give Mamma Mia a try.We were staying in a villa outside of town and decided to stay in and order some dinner. It is hard to get take out and delivery in this area but Mamma Mia's will make your food and send it in cab (which you will pay for but inexpensive)We ordered 4 large pizza's and all different. Our villa was about 15 minutes outside of town and maybe this is why the 4 star rating vs 5 starThe pizza was very good but I am sure if we had it hot out of the oven it woud have been better. We have eaten at La Crema many times in the restaurant and the pizza is definitely better but it may be an unfair comparison. Next time we are down, we will try it fresh and then compareWe were happy they were able to get us our pizza's so it is a great option if you want to stay in and chill with some pizzaGood day.We appreciate your rating and opinion for the restaurant. We invite you to visit us at our establishment to taste our dishes better, especially our pizzas. You will not regret. We wait for you.Grettings. Sophia â¥
Babel Café has a very furnished bar, with draft beer, wine, long drinks and cocktails. You can always listen to good music, often live, and if you are hungry, there is one of the best pizza you can find in Zipolite.

Pizzeria & Vegetarian Food
Having spent a lifetime looking for good Chili Rellenos at every Mexican restaurant we find in the U.S or Canada this has been by far the ultimate best one. It came highly recommended by our local Mexican foodie friend from Puerto Angel. We had a Margarita thin crust pizza cooked in wood fired oven ,and the Rellenos with the house red sauce. Wow both were so delicious. The house red sauce had to be mopped up with the bread at the end to savor the last of it. It had this smoky flavor that came from the peppers used to make the sauce. The other interesting thing was the prices are so reasonable that we won't hesitate to return at every opportunity. The atmosphere is wonderful and artistic.
MASA MADRE Sourdough Pizzeria & Vegetarian Kitchen. A Small & Cozy Family Owned Restaurant Located in Mazunte's Central Plaza. A Very Different Evening Atmosphere, Artisan Italian Style Sourdough Ovenbaked Pizzas & Calzones, Vegetarian/Vegan Dishes & Out
These guys were too stoned to even prepare a simple pasta. The pasta was raw, just like the onions and mushrooms. They were too waisted to even remember our order. The pizzas come straight out of a small oven so they just taste like a frozen supermarket version. The garden looks Nice though and they seem to Enjoy their work.

Pizzas y CoctelerÃa de renombre mundial en un ambiente relajado sobre un fondo musical ecléctico, desde 1993.
Stopped by this pizzeria for a lunch and late night snack while visiting Huatulco. Both times, the pizza was over the moon.Restaurant is on the second floor of the building and open with fans only. Service is wonderful, professional, and very friendly. There are eight options for pizza and we tried four of them - the Margarita, Flavioâs Especial, La Crema Especial, and the Frutti di Mar. The pizzas are made with incredible Oaxacan cheese on a tangy tomato sauce, WOOD Oven baked in a Neopolitan style crust.Truly enjoyed the perfect crust and delicious seasoning. But for me, the Frutti di Mar (seafood) pizza was something special. Itâs difficult having a strong, flavourful cheese that does not overpower the octopus and shrimp but they found a way.For me, La Crema is in the top three pizza joints in the world but their Frutti di Mar is the best pizza Iâve ever had.Looking forward to visiting Huatulco and La Crucecita again soon and stopping by La Crema as many times as possible!
Below the exotic trees, the wiffs landing on your nostril will lead you directly inside the Pizzeria. It's owner, Simone, spins dough so effortlessly, that you know he is a professional. The taste of the dough, be it in a focaccia, pizza or calzone was very different to anything I've tasted. Calzones are large, yet I found myself guarding mine entirely! Don't share! Get one for each diner!!Your body witll appreciate each bite, since every part of the calzone tastes different. You can always swim the calories off in the morning.

Went to Teresina the other night and with a group of 7 people. Most folks had the gnocchi and thought it was really good. My wife and I had the pepperoni pizza and it was very good. Thin crust and perfectly cooked. Our dinner including a bottle of water and tip was $230. They provide pizza bread, bread sticks and pesto before dinner. Outdoor and indoor seating. Much better pizza than La Crema.Reasonable priced and nice quiet street.Service was quick, friendly and efficient.

Found on the main street of Mazunte, La Empanada provides a lively place to eat well and meet people in the evening. We accept VISA
Even though we stayed in Mazunte over 3 months, we discovered this restaurant close the end of our stay. We shared a delicious Pizza. 1 pizza for 2 persons was more than enough. It's wood oven cooked and really good. Service was friendly and Rafa the owner came by to say hi and see that we enjoyed our meal. The restaurant is decorated with many flags from different countries where Rafa traveled to Surf. He is a Surf maniac. In the corner a TV plays Surf videos. Very good experience overall! We recommand this restaurant. Thanks alot for your visit to La Empanada , for us is very nice to hear that you had a good time with us and that you enjoyed what the Pacific ocean can offer , waves, sunsets, good friends Hope to see you back soon in mermejita beach .Cheers

Stoped in here for dinner after a long touring day in Puerto Escondido (4 of us). Place was busy, and we were told we had next table, yet 2 sat empty the whole time and others were sat before us. Finally chose to sit with some other people after waiting 45 mins. We went to order and were told only one chef showed up so best we order pizza as that was going out fast. So we did. Pizza was really good. Service left alot to be desired. However, margaritis were great. lol.Hi Smarties. It´s been a long time but do you think it's still time to accept our apologies? We are so sorry it wasn´t a better expirence for you and your partty, We are looking forward to serving you again when you get back to Zipolite.Irma

The Resraurant offers a nice and romantic atmosphere for a couple but the food was a real disappointment. Furthermore, the prices are higher than expected (mostly for cocktails, small glasses and was bad preparation). In general it is not worthy to spend your time and money in this place.
