Went for lunch. Four of us. Pizza was great (tasty, obviously very hot oven, good ingredients) and I also got some (what looked like) homemade chili oil which was super hot! Going again tonight.

Typical Italian style restaurant with traditional dishes and pizzas, unfortunately not up to the usual standard of well run, busy, vibrant Italians restaurants, servicing good food.Service was slow, food was OK but not good value, owner was more interested in serving locals than tourists.

The Mont Frety is the only restaurant with a garden in the center of Courmayeur. It has a central location and is in close proximity to the main cable car. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere, with a large fireplace at the entrance of the three comf
Very disappointing. I ordered the Trout with Polenta as did a friend. Both the Trout and the Polenta were lukewarm. Not inedible but could definately have done with being hotter. I've have had polenta several times whilst in Courmayeur and this dish was somewhat different. It was thicker and lacked the flavour of the Polenta eaten in other restaurants. For the first time all season I actually ordered a desert, the Tiramisu. This should have been the highlight, however it was also a little disappointing. The decor is quite nice as were the wait staff. Price average for the town.

We had the best pizza here across all the mountain and village. Very friendly owner who let us bring our own wine. They do have beer however we preferred our own drink. Kids loved the huge pizza with a more than generous topping . Itâs basic and you have to eat with your hands but they do provide tissues and plastic cups. Really good fun and so cheap. Grazie

Local and Italian Cuisine - Traditionnal italian pizza cooked in wood-burning oven - Local Pastry : The Martine's frittelle - Brasserie-pizzeria ambiance - Funny Place - Budget restaurant in Courmayeur
We stopped to have a pizza there, hoping the queue to cross the Monte Bianco tunnel would get down to something reasonable (it was 3 hours long). Not only we were nicely welcomed by a perfectly good English speaking son of the owner, but he helped us also monitoring the situation, and eventually suggested it would not get better before very late (which happened to be correct - we ended staying in a nearby hotel). The salads and the pizze were both good, as was the white wine (by the glass) we got. So it's a nice stop ahead of the tunnel.

Small and very busy at weekends (best book if you do not want to be disappointed) the ambiance is wonderful, the service good and friendly, the food delicious and the portions enormous. For an expensive town to eat in the prices are not too bad either. Th
Tried to get in without a reservation. No luck, the place was packed. They said to come back in 30 minutes. Luckily we did. What a brilliant place. Good atmosphere, friendly staff and the pizzas... my god... the pizzas. All four of us ate different pizzas and they were all excellent. Mine was one of, if not the best pizza I've ever had. So good. This place was packed even in the summer (off season) and there was an actual line outside. AND the locals go there, so you know it's good. Do yourself a favour and go to this place.

Tucked away down a narrow side street with a very quaint appealing entrance. Busy but efficiently run. Only a few tables and chairs. Delicious focaccia and plenty of other choices. Service friendly. A great place to grab a bite after a day's skiing. Definitely recommended.

The hotel recommended us this place for a pizza and we were not disappointed! It was one of the best pizza I ever ate (and I am half Italian so I know what Iâm talking about). Fresh ingredients, thin dough and delicious tomato sauce. Plus it was so big I had to ask for a doggy-bag to bring 1/3 of it home ! The staff was very nice and the atmosphere is cosy and friendly (noisy in a good way). The place is very simple. I recommend !!!

I had been for a week end in Courmayeur with friends. The moment could not be more perfect than it was. A lot of snow after a great snowfall. The village plenty of a romantic atmosphere. And when we needed to complete the day with a beautiful dinner, we've got here, "Allo Sciatore", where the meats are "SUPER" but any other foods as well.Enjoy !

The whole atmsphere is lovely here. Staff are cheerful and friendly, and food is great. We had pasta with wild boar ragu and gnocchi with rabbit ragu; both were delicicious and very filling. Prices are fair. Highly recommend.
