We went to have dinner at Lo Scoglio twice during our stay in Prato and the food was excellent every time (we're very choosy with respect to food and are always looking for the best italian food when in Italy). They have renovated the place recently and it's a very good mixture of old and new structures. The staff is efficient and friendly.

If u want a nice refined coffee, good brioche made of original ingredients and the best sandwiches ever tasted, CAFFE PASTICCERIA LA REPUBBLICA is the answer. Seeing is believing and a trial will convince you. I have been there and will always go there. I tried, saw and then believed wholly.

Ok, so don't let the bad brand name dissuade you. The pizza here is excellent! You can watch their amazing mama prepping the pizza right in front of you. You can choose whatever toppings you want. The set up is a bit weird as they will sit you outside to some other adjacent buildings. But the main focus is the pizza, just pizza!!! It's really amazing!Oh in case you're wondering, there are no burgers here.

I've returned to this spot a number of times. The pizza is always good quality. The price is right and the service is very friendly. The locale is informal and you feel right at home.

This was a nice find off the beaten path in Prato. This is outside the city walls and you will need to drive to get here, but is a great surprise. Don't worry about the neighborhood - it's fine and very easy to find parking. If you don't speak Italian is might be a little hard to figure things out but we managed. There are no English menus and only one person spoke it and helped us with the selections, which was fine with us. The food is some of the best in this area. We had the black truffle with spaghetti, which is to die for. I had the carbonara and it was fantastic. The service started out perfect but got a little shaky as the night went on as the place got more crowed - just not enough stuff, but it was still pretty good. Don't let that stop you as the food was outstanding! If your not a smoker stay inside - too many people smoke outside on the dining patio. Give it a try - maybe the best in Prato!

The Antica Trattoria Galceti, at the foot of Monferrato, in the province of Prato, welcomes costantement and, with healthy and tasty recipes. We are aware that the delicacy of a dish is derived primarily from the quality of the raw materials that are used
We stumbled onto this restaurant thanks to Trip Advisor. We made a last minute reservation for the 7 of us (grandparents, parents and 3 kids ages 10-12). The staff are lovely. They donât speak English but we made it work with poor English and poor Italian - and it was worth it because the food was incredible. Zucchini flowers were the best Iâve had, pizzas were delicious and the pastas were fantastic. And the desserts were great (especially the panna cotta with dark chocolate sauce). It was a bit warm inside - could have used a fan, but the restaurant is lovely.

In 1961, Mrs Ofelia inaugurated the first big restaurant in Prato, âIl Caprioloâ: Tuscan specialities. Exactly 50 years later, and after a short period closed, the restaurant has been reopened and itâs now cared by the great-grandchildren of the ancient f
This restaurant was amazing. The service staff were very friendly even though I could not speak Italian and made me feel comfortable. The food was great with the freshest produce used, making all the difference. There was a mixture of traditional and modern cuisine which catered for everybody. I have eaten here many times when I visited Italy. If you had to try anything, the pizza was the best I've ever tasted. I will always come back here when I visit Italy in the future.
