We wanted to eat and have a drink in the restaurant before going down to the port. As we came by car, we needed a parking place and decided to take a free one which we have seen opposite the Restaurant/Hotel âLe beau sejourâ. After parking the barkeeper (and owner?) of the restaurant already came out of the building and let us know in a quite unfriendly way that we are not supposed to park our car at this place. We were wondering why this place should not be a free parking spot as there was no official sign that parking is prohibited. Nevertheless the barkeeper claimed this parking place for himself (by putting two of his chairs there) and kept letting us know to park our car somewhere else, in a more and more aggressive manner. He yelled, raised his fist to us and threatened us with a possible damage of the car if we would continue to leave our car at that spot. At this point we did not want to continue to discuss anything. The wiser head gives in and therefore we just left that extremely unpleasant place and went to another restaurant.

Even if we hadn't just completed a long uphill walk to Evisa I think this place would've hit the spot. Extremely tasty wood-fired pizzas, served by friendly staff in a scenic position. Prices are very fair; overall a great experience. Highly recommended.
