Vayma is a favorite place to spend an afternoon at Pie de la Cuesta. From the welcoming staff who remember us year after year to the varied and comfortable surroundings, there is something for everyone here. The pool has a great swim up bar and in the afternoon you may find some shade there while sipping your cocktails. I always have a shrimp pizza there. Wood burning oven, thin crust. Yum. Stay for an outstanding sunset to finish off your day.

We ate at this restaurant three times because it was so good. The ambiance isn't all that great, except it's right on the zocalo and there's lots of fun people-watching if you sit outside. We had the seafood pasta, which was excellent. It had nice big, crisp shrimp, lots of tender clams/muscles, fish with a delicious red sauce. They serve it with garlic bread. I also had the spaghetti and meat balls, with extra meat sauce ... wow, so, so good and they really give you "a lot" of extra meat sauce. I also tried the lasagna. My cousin had the pizza and loved it. I thought the pizza was good too. The restaurant is always busy. We've had to wait for a table a couple times. The beers were always cold and the food was always fresh and delicious. The staff was so very friendly and fun. Definitely worth a try if you like Italian food.

The address above shows costera miguel aleman this restaurant is actually in Puerto Marques about a 25 to 30 minute drive from the Fiesta Americana. If you know the area and the surrounding restaurants Blue water will stand out. Let me start by saying we parked ourselves for about 6 to 7 hours. There is a minimum consumption charge of 200 peso pp which isn't hard to reach with beverages. We had a group of 10 and had a little breakfast and lunch pretty light on both ends for my family anyway. The shrimp tacos and empanadas are very good 4 of us split 3 orders. We had about 4 or 5 cervesa and a rum and coke at the end before heading out at 4pm. The area was packed on this Friday and you may wish to pick another day of the week to visit here. Blue water is the spot though showers to rinse and bathrooms in much better shape then the other area establishments.

We ate indoors, though there is outdoor seating. Seemed to be many college age diners. Pizza was excellent. Service was prompt.
