Arrosticini Di Pecora E Cucina Tipica Abruzzese
Ate here three times in September whilst we were staying in Abruzzo. Food was excellent which explains why we went there three times! Friendly service and the waitress was kind enough to translate the menu into English for us. Always busy and we saw the same people coming back, which is always a good sign. Try the local red wine superb. Look forward to our next visit when in Abruzzo.Ciao Ciao!

A group of family, friends and I went to the Akire' ristorante, although it is a small ristorante it is really big on good local cuisine, great service and a very helpful staff. The Italian style kebabs (arostocini) are fantastic and there is a great selection of Pizza. We can highly recommend the Akire' ristorante.

Situated on a busy road a few miles outside Pescara, in a mainly industrial & commercial zone, this restaurant offers home made dishes in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. We had lunch there a couple of days while attending business meetings nearby. The cold cut meats and starters were fresh and tasty, and the cook's special ravioli and chocolate cake were just delicious. I asked for a box of the wafer-thin biscotti to take home (to Aberdeen), and the cook kindly obliged. Once home, they were devoured in minutes! The staff at the Follia 72 are all really friendly and very efficient. This is a real gem of a place.

Popped in here when Pianella town centre was busy with a late night festival and I couldn't drive through town. The restaurant is located on the "S" bend on the lower edge of town and is easy to miss... but I'm glad we found it. We've been back on two occasions since because the owners are very kind and the food is good. I don't look for or need any more than that for a regular mid-week nosh. I like it here.

One of the best typical restaurants of Abruzzo that I have visited. The table service is excellent, the food is delicious. The medieval decoration catapults you into the past. Well done.I recommend this magnificent restaurant to everyone.PS: I recommend you to reserve the table

We ate here many times when we were in Pianella over the summer. The locale is beautiful, the staff is extremely attentive and accommodating to our every request, and the pizza was always amazing. I am dreaming of the truffle pizza and can't wait to return to again soon.

I was really happy to find this place for one of our dinners in Abruzzo. All the courses were delicious. To begin our dinner we had usual Italian starters like prosciutto, cheese and bread with olive oil. I loved the pizza fritta! It is basically the pieces of fried pizza pastry. Then for the main course we had pizzas and traditional Abruzzo dish - arrosticini - that are mutton skewers cooked on fire. The restaurant definitely had a high quality meat and arrosticini tasted far better than the ones we had tried before in other places. For the dessert we went for panna cotta. It was freshly made and tasted delicious with that wild berries sauce on it. Highly recommended place for your dinner!

Fantastic pizzeria in the center of a quaint Italian village. The pizzas are fanstatic, and they also serve a potato based dish which is unique for the area. All topped off by genuine German beer! Make reservations if you go on the weekend , it's packed!
