Amalfis Restaurant and Bar continues to impress me in their continue improving service, food presentation, and tastiness of their meals. Slight changes to meal orders are ok, and presented in rapid time. Our servicer was patient, we took a little while to select our meal, and was pleasant.I had a hamburger with bacon, lettuce , onion, tomato with lettuce and fried egg. Unbelievably good tasting. Dinner pricing is a bit high but sandwich prices are reasonable. Lot's of parking is available and a large oval bar with lots of TV's for sports enthusiasts.

We were thoroughly pleased with our food as well as the service. We also enjoyed the ambience -- that is, the clientele and decor. However...the noise volume was near deafening. The main dining room could benefit from a few sound baffles. The room is all stone and plaster, so there is no where for the sound to go. It just reverberates.

We have been coming here since way back when it was Palermo's, a similar family owned restaurant. It's still very good, maybe even better since the change over. We absolutely love the Chopped Antipasto Salad with lots of Italian meats and fresh salad veggies. Served with their Garlic Knots, fresh Italian bread and infused olive oil, you could make a meal of it, but we don't. My wife and I split the salad and then order a pizza.Actually, not a pizza, but an old fashioned Tomato Pie. We love their thin and crispy crust with fresh tomato sauce and mushrooms. A simple delight. One of these days we may try something else on the menu, but I doubt it. The chopped salad and tomato pie are just too good.

Hand crafted wood fired pizzas. We source many local and organic toppings. Our dough takes 4 days to make and then just 90 seconds in the oven.
Call ahead to check wait time. Hopewell location and a sister location in Princeton. The pizza is a unique dough pizza with very fresh ingredients. Pizzas are personal pan size but two people can be satisfied with one. Pizzas range from 11.00 to 20+. Hopewell locaction is CASH or CHECK payment only. ATM on site. Princeton location accepts all payment methods.

Its been a couple of years since this restaurant was last reviewed in TripAdvisor, and it looks like they may have changed their name. Its now Pennington Pizza Italian Grill at the same location. It must still be the same restaurant and the same owners because the menu says "Family Owned/ Fine Italian Cuisine Since 1978."We had a late afternoon meeting at a nearby office. I had spotted this restaurant on the way there. After the meeting, someone said let's stop for dinner before going home. We had gone out to eat from this office before, but somehow never before here. OK, lets do it.You enter through a small labyrinth of doors and vestibules, that lead to the counter in front of the pizza ovens. The counter-people must have thought we were there for a take-out order. When we said we wanted to eat-in they pointed out the dining room we had missed behind us.The four of us comfortably sat at a large booth that would have been a squeeze for six. The waiter was not a native English-speaker, and honestly I couldn't understand a word he said. He gave us menus. We decided on a large Veggie Lovers Pizza and a couple of appetizers to share. The Texas Fries appetizer was french fries covered with melted American cheese and bacon. Tasty, predictable, but it was hard to find the bacon. The baked raviolis came with a Marinara dipping sauce and were also tasty.Next the pizza -- Steamy hot, thin crust and loaded with veggies. Very good. My only complaint is that they serve pizzas on those stands that keep it about 8 inches above the table surface. Because of the low lighting in the dining room, the stand creates a shadow that makes it hard to see your food.Pennington Pizza Italian Grill also offers pasta specialties and other Italian fare, as well as the standard stuff you would expect at any pizzeria. Next time I might try a pasta dish.Overall, not bad. Prices are not bad, but might be a little higher than expected. Still, I might try this place again when I'm in the area -- maybe for lunch.

We stopped by for the first time today for a couple slices to go with a soft drink. Got a Broccoli white slice and a margarita slice. They tasted very good. The thin crust was notburnt, and the toppings were warm tender. We took home a menu, since we live near by and probably order for pick up next time. Service was quick for all of us who stop in for a take out. Coming off the Pennington circle go slow because you might go past it. Marco's has gluten free pizza as well as Specialty Pizza and Gourmet Pizza. Also Brooklyn Pie. Although Pizza is their main product Marco's does have sandwiches , burgers , salads Wraps and Beef or Steak sandwiches. Pizza pricing starts at $7.99 a pie. Very competitive. The building was very clean but sit down seats are limited. We are coming again . See you there.

We stopped in for dinner and had the best pizza and salads ever! I had a Ryan's salad and it was amazing. Daily soup was great also and then there was the pizza! Great doesn't even begin to describe it.

Great pie, nice people good service. They make a great bacon pie, which has become my favorite, in spite of not being a traditional pizza topping.

Been coming here since it first opened and always had a delicious meal with wonderful service. Ordered our two favorite pizzas today. Skimpy ingredients and no flavor at all. Seems to be under new ownership. Truly disappointing, especially when compared to its former excellence.

The food is excellent. The service is pretty good but slows down quite a bit on weekend nights. Fresh salads, delicious pasta, and really good octopus appetizer. Nice for takeout. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the pizza, while good, isn't amazing
