From pizza to main courses this restaurant offers good taste for the majority of customers, it's hard to fault it.Clean, essential and well laid tables are compliments to the food served.Nice discovery, recommended.I believe this venue is pretty new, so I hope they maintain the same standard I've enjoyed.

Consigliato.

nice outside, at river, but no terras, and trendy interiore, but avoid the pizza's and meal salads, incapable derving, 6 hungry people looking 15 min to 2 meager and fat 'meal' salads, then all the burnt and raw pizza's came...., of course all charges at full price, despite complaint - da evitare, 7 delle 8 pizze bruciate di sotto e crude di sopra, un mare di tempo fra prima insalatona (ina!) e ultima pizza, fa pagare comunque tutto, pessima esperienza, peccato!!!

Abosolutely a fantastic pizza, made as the real pizza has to be made.Just only one thing: please change the lights (illumination) becuase the restaurant is very cute but with those "white" lights it loses lot of point. But the pizza is awesome!!!Absolutely suggest it.

Abbiamo speso 26 euro.

We stumbled on this restaurant by chance, trying to find a place to eat near Certosa di Pavia (where we couldn't find anything, even though it was already past noon). It is a small place, with several tables all very close to each other, old fashion style. The lady - who I guess was the owner - was very kind and, seeing that we had two little kids, immediately came asking what kind of food they would eat. Then, later on, was asking about our own (very smart!).We ate some appetizers (sea food - octopus, squid), then spaghetti carbonara (which was very nice), and finally some more seafood (shrimp, squid rings). Everything was delicious, and the bill was not that expensive. If you're in Certosa di Pavia to see the monastery, and need to spend time during lunch (the monastery closes from 11:30 to 14:30), drive to Pavia (another 7-8min drive), and the restaurant will be on the road, on your right.

The Botticella restaurant, located in the historic center, Piazza del Carmine, is a cozy and well cared for, where you can spend moments of relaxation in the company of family and friends, enjoying delicious dishes accompanied by fine wines. The chef and
We visited Pavia on Easter Monday, which doubtless was part of the problem. Few restaurants were open. We were seated and served our primi/appetizers within a reasonable amount of time, when a large group of nearly 20 people showed up without a reservation. When a harried-looking woman came out of the kitchen to glare at the young man seating the patrons, we knew we were in trouble. A half-hour later, when she dashed back into the restaurant with a grocery bag, we knew it was futile to expect the secondi within our lifetimes. I even went out after I had eaten my main dish to check on something, and 25 minutes later, my two companions had still not gotten their meals. We clocked it, and there was well over an hour between being served primi and their secondi. I had gotten my secondi in the first round, which I thought was odd, but in retrospect was a good thing, The lone waitress avoided our eyes and at no point was an apology given nor any recompense, such as a free coffee or glass of wine, offered. Both the fish dishes were superb, as was the pasta primi; seafood is definitely their strong point, but one companion's beef was fatty and he left half of it on the plate. I wondered if that's what the cook had gone out for and found only the worst leavings from the holiday weekend in the shop. This is not the first time I have seen a restaurant "compromise the kitchen" (a great phrase I heard from a French restauranteur in Menerbes when he refused to seat additional patrons) out of pure greed. Maybe the large group were all regulars, and we were tourists who would never be back. But be aware that if there are too many people in the restaurant, your service will definitely suffer. Too bad it takes away from the excellent cuisine.
