I have been coming to Leo's Pizza for at least 25 years and it never disappoints. A small, family owned, hole-in-the-wall is always a delightful way to spend dinner time. On the weekends it tends to be very busy, so make sure you call ahead to place an order or for take out. My favorite is the Canadian bacon with their house provel cheese.
Okay, I was a little hesitant about gas station pizza, but this pizza was great. We ordered the supreme. The crust was just like I like it and the flavor of the combination food was tasty. The person behind the food counter was not friendly and seemed to be bothered by my interruption. I'm hoping this was an off moment and not the standard.

We lived in Lake Waukomis in the 70's and the original Platte Woods Pizza Shoppe was one of our favorite places. Recently ten family members including four children went back to enjoy their cracker crust pizzas and salads with the pink stuff dressing once again. While it has relocated to the North end of the same building it was great to be back. We asked for a more out of the way seating because of our twin 5-year old autistic great grand-children but they were perfect! My wife and I had a larger entree salad, our son spaghetti, and others various items from the menu. We had a great time, enjoyed the good food and service, and old memories to include a photo on the wall of Lake Waukomis where we and the Pizza Shoppe founders lived.
This place just opened and already they have a great staff. We have some dietary restrictions in our group and they paid special attention to get the order right. We were very happy with the preparation and the attention from our busy waitress. The beer was good too, they took extra time to help us with our selection, very patient for first time customers who didn't know the system.
Really nothing remarkable about this place. Used to go there a lot, almost once a week, but their service and quality of food has vastly gone down hill. I am especially upset about the franchise decision to stop carrying the wings I like. The parking here isn't the best, especially when their delivery drivers park in the 15 min parking reserved for their carry out customers.

Looking for the best Italian restaurant; once upon a time, you had to be able to get to Italy for a great Italian restaurant experience. These days, you just have to make it to BRAVO Cucina Italiana in Zona Rosa Kansas City. Bring your friends, your famil
We dropped in here on a Saturday night while there was a free concert in the Zona Rosa courtyard area. The restaurant patio is the perfect spot to enjoy the concert. Arrive at least 30 mins before the concert start time so you can get a patio seat. The gimlet was delicious and the pasta was a perfect way to end a relaxing evening.
Pizza Shoppe is on our list of regular places to go. Their crispy thin crusts are so delicious, and we usually get pepperoni or the chicekn alfredo. The salads with the "pink stuff" dressing are delicious. They have great lunch specials, especially the personal size pizza with side salad and a soda for around $7. I might stay away from the pasta, I was not impressed with the taste or portion size of the chicken alfredo I got once. The entree salads are great too, very delicious.

Since arriving into town a month ago--everyone says "you have to go to Minsky's for pizza." I've tried it twice...it's not bad, but not great. Apparently, KC doesn't have authentic places to eat. Don't get me wrong, the service was great! Servers are tentative, friendly, etc. Must say, the price for their pies are on the higher side price wise (for a large) and the topping are not that generous. Will I return? Probably....

Very relaxing, but not stuffy restaurant. The service was impeccable. Didn't try the pizza, but the next time I'm in Parkville I will do that. I had the meatball grinder, and it was very tasty and more than I could eat. This will be my Parkville go-to spot.
