Things to do in Opera

Superb pizza! While the decor is simple, this local restaurant has a wood fire over and good service (except on Fridays when the local sports teams all come!). Note that they don't make pizzas on Tuesday. Try the Pizza Lombardi or their seafood pasta (covered with pizza dough over the bowl).

This pizzeria came highly regarded but after experiencing so much amazing pizza in Italy, the pie's just didn't elevate. We were seated immedietely in an empty dining room, right next to the only table of diners. We asked to move to a more comfortable table and after a moment of confused looks, we were placed at a different table. The service was very slow, and I believe this was because we were tourists, as most people in the place seemed to be local. Once the server arrived at our table, it seemed like he was in a hurry to get us in and out. We ordered a bottle of mediocre vino rosso (servers recommendation) and two pizza's. The Diavolo with spicy calabrian style salami & pomodora sauce was pretty good but I found the crust to be too chewy and unlike the amazing complex crusts we found in the region. The Salchicha with greens was not that good. Poorly seasoned sausage and bland spinach just don't work for me. It wasn't exactly the last pizza experience we wanted to have while in Italy, but it wasn't that bad either. I'm not sure I would return.
Terra Mia Restaurant & Pizzeria, must then taste the Verace Neapolitan Pizza contemporary, made with alternative methods of dough, and with special flours, to ensure a healthy and digestible product, Mediterranean cuisine, simple and homemade.

Nothing remarkable about the place, I had Veal in breadcrumbs which was definitely on the dry side. For dessert I had a Tirimasu which was fine. My colleague had the mixed fish which seemed a much better choice. The service was friendly and efficient, the decor wood panelling was uninspiring. The best bit was the English translations which did amuse and included "esteemable burger" and "mess" instead of mash!

Lebanese and Italian restaurant, ONLY fresh Pasta and wooden oven pizzeria. Lunch offer is very interesting. BEST PIZZA IN TOWN.
The restaurant (close to the Crown hotel) has a nice outdoor space. The service is good an we were fan of the Lebanese starter with all the different little dishes. The lamb was well prepared. Good price/ quality.

Very much a local restaurant! Everyone knows each other and the atmosphere is very traditional. The food is very good but more importantly the value for your money is outstanding. Good experience!

Weâve visited Lo Chalet during a one night stay in Opera, on our way to our destination, the Tuscany coast. We felt very welcome at Lo Chalet, where the owner himself cooks you a delicious diner, all made from fresh ingredients. You can go for your own choice, but the recommendations are also very nice. Start with some nice pizza, made of the finest flower. Have some nice starters, which you can share if you want. The tuna is so good! Bruschetta is different, but really tasteful and the gnoccho with slices of bacon and chorizo is a lovely choice as well. For the main course weâve had Gambiaâs and beef. Both of these dishes weâre made with passion for food. Our kids had some more of the finger licking good pizza! When youâre near, visit Lo Chalet and meet these lovely and warm people, and enjoy their kitchen & restaurant!
