We had a family birthday meal here when visiting Manchester. All the food was very good. Pizzas lovely and crisp. Garlic bread quite large so donât over order. I had the meatballs which were very tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the service was first class.

I had not been here for a good while. The food was good and enjoyed by all. No draught lager which was a little disappointing. Very quiet for a Saturday night.

Visited mid-week for dinner with friends. There weren't many people in, and we were served quickly. The staff were attentive without being pushy. We all really enjoyed our food and will definitely return again. They had a very reasonable mid-week dinner special on, but we all chose to order off the main menu.

First time to Giovanni's and what a great experience. Went as a family on fathers day and was blown away with the food atmospheres and service. My Son recommended Giovanni's so I know it was going to be good!I can't recommend the food enough each one of us had a different meal and I wanted to try each others food but no one was sharing which means I have to go back regularly to go through all the Menu :)) Living in Staffordshire I can't visit as much as I would like but will defiantly go as often as I can. I have to say that Giovanni was on hand in the restaurant and that was good to see.All the staff were very pleasant and the service was great!Thank you Giovanni for making our evening very special for us all.

Welcome! Rich in history, The Farrars Arms is a cosy & welcoming pub held dear to many in the hills of Saddleworth. We like to think our menu has something for everyone, whether youâre looking for our homemade pies to warm you up on a cool day, or a light
I emailed the pub on Tuesday for a tableOn Sunday and I received confirmation from the marketing manager to say a table had been booked. We had been out in Uppermill and decided to stop here for food on the way back, not knowing how busy the pub would be was the reason for the reservation especially over a Bank Holiday Weekend. We arrived to find no table had been booked and then it was a discussion to find us a table and prove we had a booking. We were given a small and I mean a small round table in a corner. The atmosphere in the pub was one for the locals and I mean that in the way that everyone knows everyone! The food was ok and came quite quick so we were in and out but overall a disappointing end to an afternoon out.

The lunch menu is basic and doesnât seem particularly authentic. The dishes were fairly rudimentary and far short of fine cuisine. However, the food is all edible and the quantities are good. The prices are very cheap, so itâs probably as good as can be expected for the price you pay.

Been to this lovely restaurant previously. On this occasion decided to bring the three grandchildren ( they had never been ) and take advantage of the early bird offer so arrived prior to 1600 hrs.Upon arrival nothing was explained so we ordered off the children menu and ours off the adult. The food was lovely but when the bill came it was expensive and believing we were on the offer WRONG.Told the offer was on the Peroni ( big deal ) only.Apparently I did not read THE SMALL PRINT which is on the children menu and when I say small print I mean it ,you can hardly see it has it it so small. Felt cheated really it is not fair to display it that way.Sorry Fresca will not be coming back .Your loss.BYE.

My wife and I ate here this evening for the first time since Pinocchioâs moved to their new premises. The standard of the food and service has always been excellent, but everything has been further enhanced by the atmosphere of this smart, new restaurant just two doors down from the old one.The quality was as good and inexpensive as ever.My favourite restaurant in Tameside by a country mile.
