Discover Restaurants offering the best Pizza food in Obidos, Central Portugal, Portugal. When 13th-century Portuguese Queen Isabel passed through Obidos and marveled at its beauty, her husband King Denis I simply gave it to her. For centuries after, the kings of Portugal followed suit, presenting the picturesque little town to their queens as a wedding gift. With its white buildings shining as brightly now as then, the walled city of Obidos is very popular with tourists, its hillside location offering amazing views of the Estremadura area. The medieval castle is a main attraction.

Nice little restaurant in one of the smaller streets in town. Pasta dishes were very delicious and the service was great. My father ordered a tapas dish for himself but the recommendes him to choose otherwise because of the size of the dish even though that would mean that he would choose a cheaper dish.

In Ãbidos the houses are of the Mole's (like the animal), small cozy burrows that the more inside we enter the warmer it stays. In Muralha´s the last division is a large terrace where the sun hits and the breeze runs along the food always fresh, always mo
It was a last minute move to go to Muralhas Restaurant. And just as well we got there early (7.30âsh) because by 8, it was no longer an empty church. It was buzzing. Only 2 wait staff were on the job and they were now in orbit dealing with the inflow of diners pretty well. I went for the Prawn Curry. Wow! It hit the spot instantaneously and was superbly plated with a single sliced pineapple, peach and a strawberry. The curry sauce had âbiteâ, the prawns had that fresh off the pier taste and not of the pre frozen tasteless variety which is so common. One can only assume this was the case based on the scrumptious flavour. The Portuguese crepe and ice cream dessert was a bit underwhelming. But you canât expect everything to be perfect. The ambience was pleasant, the drinks menu offered choice and the prices reasonable. Definitely recommended. We plan on returning again...tonight!

I would say the pizza is a 3.5 out of 5. The service was really good and the wine prices and pours were generous. Got two pizzas. One with ham, arugula and tomato. However, the four cheese pizza was by far the best. Really unique blend of cheeses for a cheese pizza.
