Things to do in New Hyde Park
The place nice and since it seemed open for business, well, we tried it. The staff was good and on point. My girlfriend had shrimp scampi that seemed watered down. I had the bake ziti with eggplant and honestly it was two small strips of eggplant. In conclusion, I was not impressed with the place. In all honestly, I gave it three stars cause the waiters worked very hard.

One of Manhattan's finest pizzerias has joined forces with Bayside's most elegant Italian ristorante. The result? "Previti Pizza and Papazzio Dining," an unprecedented gourmet pizza dining experience that's now right in your neighborhood.
The pizza -- slices & fresh pies -- is excellent, with a rotating cast of creative & familiar combos. People are the best -- friendliest pizza place in New Hyde Park, welcoming families and singles with equal warmth. Good pasta and salads; 2 flat screen TVs with sports and/or classic rock videos from the boss's 10,000 clip library. Pizzas available with both thin and focaccio style crusts. Beer, soft drinks. Clean restrooms. I've eaten there or ordered out 1-2 times a week ever since they opened.

Been yo this location in the past and had better service and food. Our server was not on cue as we asked for refills of water numerous times. The bread basket contained thinly rolled cold garlic knots, and hard rolls. In the past, there were large hot garlic knots and fresh rolls. We waited on a refill of a bread basket and was told it was coming out of the oven. When the basket arrived, it was not hot. The platter of the eggplant parmigiana was large and okay taste. I had better in the past. The meal came with a salad and house Italian dressing. I was expecting an experience like I had in the past but got a bad memory instead.

This is one of my favorites in Garden City. I've eaten here several times and have never been disappointed. Grimaldi's offers a wide range of selections (mostly pizza but other things as well). I was here the other day and ordered a plain pizza and small antipasti. Both were very tasty. If you want there are many extra toppings you can add to the pizza at additional cost. They all sound good. I've tried a few in the past and loved them.

Delicious pizzas and Italian dishes handcrafted by same family as the original Umberto's of New Hyde Park. Famous for delicious Sicilian, Grandma, Neapolitan, Pan and Specialty pies as well as our Italian dishes. Community favorite for over 20 years and t
Have been going to Village for years as it's our local pizza restaurant. Pizza is good as are most of their kitchen dishes. Their best pizza is one with a thicker crust, red peppers, black olives and sausage (along with standard cheese and tomato sauce). It's spectacular !!!!

Iavarone Bros. went too far here it's not the same place from 30 years ago in a bad way. Food quality is below standards, products have gone commercial, the ambiance is cafeteria like, stay home and order out, you will not enjoy yourself, at least we didn't!

On a Wednesday at 2:00 PM I found myself at the bar ordering a bar pie & beer. I have been coming to this location for at least 50 years, with my friends, first the tennis, then the golf, my wife & couples then my children & now my grand kids. I have no idea of what these folks are thinking but I strongly suggest they reevaluate their business plan while they still have something of value. How do you leave this type of business unattended with nobody from ownership on site? How can you let a bartender pick up a pie from the kitchen that is obviously overdone, burnt and COLD & then serve it to a customer after the customer waited 20 minutes for it in a nearly empty restaurant, 2 other men at drinking, no food.Rather then upsetting the young lady behind the bar I ate, paid my bill, now informing All to be aware, Eddieâs is no longer what it was. How sad!

While this is a pizzeria, the food is a cut above "pizzeria" in my book. Our party enjoyed: 1. chicken platter (grilled) which had a beautiful side salad as an option; both side salad and the platter were colorful, 2. oreganate penne, 3. baked lasagna, 4. grilled chicken hero and 5. grilled chicken parm hero as well as 6. side of broccoli (must love garlic or push it to the side). People we were with said this is one of their go-to places and the newcomers can see why. As another reviewer noted, the portions are large. Recommend.

We live in Las Vegas and it is hard to find New York style Italian food so when we visit we have Italian. We order things we can't get in Vegas like Baked claims which were delicious. The bread was fresh and wonderful. My husband and I both had veal francese and it did not disappoint. The only downside to this place was that it was SOOOO NOISY

There's nothing special about this place....just an average "red-sauce" Italian restaurant. The food is good but not memorable, the decor is typical "Mediterranean"....th service was very attentive...the manager/owner was extremely ;personable...the prices were fair and reasonable, the wine list extensive.
