My wife and two granddaughters and I were advised to visit the restaurant by a friend who lives in Castelmauro and, as his guest, sample some desserts. Castelmauro, itself, if one of those beautiful Italian hilltowns that you regularly discover in the Molise province. It has an alpine aspect and to reach the restaurant you drive up a steep hill above the town. Hence the name "stelle". It really is closer to the stars and overlooks a panorama that you would never find in Tuscany or Umbria. This is the real Italy. What was surprising about the restaurant was that it appeared to have been built recently and it was in the middle of a huge lush lawn that stretched to a "lookout" with a view of the surrounding open countryside. The air is as pure as you can find in the modern world and the setting was first class: clean, well designed, and full of Italian families out for an excursion from local towns. We left the choice of the desserts to the owner of the establishment and she returned to our table with a huge place of delicacies. The service was excellent, the desserts of a very high quality, and the setting was unforgettable. We been coming to the Molise area for years and we keep finding these unexpected treasures. We were anxious to share our experience with you.

Quando cerco a san salvo una pizza al taglio questo posto è una certezza. Ampia scelta di gusti, prezzi più che onesti e pizza veramente buona. La gentilezza del personale è di casa.Fanno anche pizze al piatto. Consigliato!

Sono stata in questo locale in occasione di un compleanno; ho mangiato ottimi antipasti e una buonissima pizza, consiglio! Anche il posto è carino, mentre si mangia si riesce a vedere i kart che corrono.

Conosciamo questo posto da anni ma da circa 2 non venivamo più; la pizza era media, non meglio di altre del posto. Tornando ultimamente l'abbiamo trovata così buona da consigliarla in giro e venire noi stessi più volte nell' arco del pochissimo tempo di soggiorno a Vasto... Alta, morbida, ingredienti di qualità , onesta nel prezzo. Personale disponibile e piuttosto rapido, dalla titolare al simpatico ragazzo dei caffè :)La location è molto informale; vista l'ottima proposta migliorerei giusto quella. Bagni puliti ma assenza di un fasciatoio.Appena possibile torneremo sicuramente...

I went there by chance with my family. We ate a couple of starters (impepata di cozze and insalata di polipo) and some first dishes. I suggest you to try insalata di polipo (octopus salad) and orecchiette al pesto (a kind of pasta) with calamari (squids), they were both delicious and I was literally flooded with orecchiette.We also tried spaghetti with vongole and they were also good. All dishes seemed to be really fresh and homemade, that's strongly important for fish dishes.The prices were good, or, at least, in the average. Nothing to complain about it, neither about the service. We didn't wait much to eat.As for dessert? Homemade tiramisu, for sure!You should have a try :)

Livia non sbaglia un colpo! Una pizza che non si trova da nessun'altra parte, squisita è dir poco. In un clima familiare la pizzeria, la migliore pizza che abbiamo mai mangiato e degli artistici da leccarsi i baffi. Consigliatissimo!

Lâabbiamo scoperto per caso, e devo ammettere che è stata una scoperta favolosa. Proprietari gentilissimi, il cibo ottimo, prezzo buono. Cozze erano strepitose. Particolare attenzione anche per i più piccoli, pasta fresca corta e disponibilità di seggiolini. Consigliatissimo

I think we were the only non-Italians here. This seemed very popular with locals. We ordered the Antipasta della casa and we thought the meat selection was huge. But then dish after dish followed. It was enormous but fabulous food, although we weren't so enthusiatic about the last couple of dishes which I think contained liver and other organs! But there was so much here. the problem was we had already ordered pizza. We barely made a dent in those as we were already full!

We were there at the first day of the new season after the winter time and in spite of the road was thorny (ahah with the fog and dark village roads in the late evening) it was worth that! The local special is the pizza (you could choose the flour of the dough - at least 6 variations include even the hempseed flour) with the 400 g (!!!!!) tender fresh creamy buratta! It tastes like milky heaven. Never tried smth like that - but I'm a cheese fan and tried a lot. Also, there is a good wine and good atmosphere. Want to go there again someday!
