Slow to deliver, cold food; skimpy pizza; just not up to par with others. Maybe some of it has to do with that it's take out.
On this visit my wife and I stood around in the lobby and were never acknowledged in any way at all. The employee looked at us but that's it. I've had multiple problems with this location over the years. No more as I won't go back and strongly suggest you don't either. Maybe the pizza portal thing will upgrade the customer experience because the humans aren't getting it done.
Servers are very nice. Food is good. The BAD: 1. Wood around the wall looks like someone has wiped something on them and it hasn't been cleaned.2. The metal condiment holder on the tables are rusty and dusty.3. The blinds are faded and dusty, also.
I am from NY and am probably a hard pizza critic to please because of this. There are a lot of "New York Pizza" places in South Charlotte and Indian Trail/Monroe area, but this place is the best NY slice you'll ever have without getting on a plane to NYC. Amazing pizza with different varieties to order, but the original cheese and pepperoni are slices of pure heaven from Brooklyn bestowed upon us in Indian Trail/Charlotte area. The owners were born and raised in Brooklyn. Through the week, there is also a lunch buffet with pizza, pasta, and salad- all you can eat for reasonable price.

We got seated immediately, waitress was prompt and attentive to our needs. Wife had the Shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, she was delighted with the simplicity but very flavorful dish. I had the 10oz ribeye cooked at medium over ziti pasta with Alfredo sauce. My meal was very good, I would have given 5 stars if there were seasoning; typically salt on the ribeye. Just lacking on the salt, I added salt and let the steak rest a little longer. Very affordable.
The new pizza's are terrible! You can smell the garlic when you walk in the door (Vampire's wouldn't have a chance....lol). My goodness, I became immediately ill after we received our food; the garlic on the old school hand tossed seems to have been quadrupled. No more pizza's from Pizza Hut, we will have to stick with other items when visiting Pizza Hut. My advice is beware when ordering even the classic pizza's; if garlic bothers you you may become very sick!

A nice little restaurant uptown Monroe. Nice courtyard outside for outdoor dining. The best salad around. Fresh and a very nice variety, not just the usual lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Sandwiches well prepared and tasty. Recommend giving it a try. New best place to go for a salad.
