Nice little place but I wasn't prepared for the prices. Too expensive for what you get,portions small and all food too salty. The wine per glass very expensive as well and in short shaking the owners' hand and Italian "ambiance" shouldn't make a person have to part with far too much cash for what you get!Many thanks for your feedback.But honestly did you get our restaurant confused with a other restaurant.We have been open quite a few years and in fact you are the first customers to complain about small portions. In fact all our customers rave we give too much on portions plus the added bonus we donât charge for bread basket or potatoes and mixed vegetables with the main course.We freshly cook all our dishes so regarding the salty taste we rarely use salt when preparing our dishes the reason there is always a salt container on each table. Wine by the glass we never measure the 3/4 line on the glass.we fill all the way to the rim of the glass and we do use excellent quality wine I suppose it depends what you are use to we are not a chain restaurant where they do vouchers and 2for1 on meals where they mass produce the same taste wherever you go. We use quality ingredients not cheap ingredients to enable us to produce quality great dishes. This is the reason why we have been here for 31 years serving traditional Italian dishes.There is cheaper places to eat it depends If you require cheap or quality and authentic dishes. To be honest I've only ever eaten the chicken kebabs and chips from here on 3 occasions. But on every occasion the pitta, salad and especially the chicken is delicious!! Well worth the money and a very clean take away. (A few smiles a friendly chat and it would possibly have been a 5)

First impressions were very good with a helpful person answering the phone and giving me options on the food and drinks.Ordering the meal was quick and simple, I managed to order exactly what I wanted.Delivery was very quick to say the least.The food was hot and well presented, it was tasty and enjoyable. Unlike some other places I've ordered from the food wasn't oily or messy.The price was reasonable considering the quantity, quality and speed of delivery.Without doubt I will order from ELM again and have no problem recommending them.

Ordered a few items, including a shish kebab. The kebab was undercooked to the point it was inedible. I have kept it and will take it to Environmental Health on Monday morning to show them. Appalling service.
