Good New Haven style pizzas! I like their sauce, it is not too sweet. Have a Foxon Park creme soda with your takeout (only a table or two to eat there) pie. Yum!

Great local Italian food. Family-owned and operated, this place puts out great authentic Italian specialties and pretty good pizza too! This is a local secret as the location lacks curb appeal and there is little advertising. The interior decor is far from trendy, but this place is all about the food! Try this place for great authentic Italian dishes cooked and served fresh by the owner! Great for families.

Milford has a great deal of excellent local restaurants. This is one of my favorites. Wether you are going for pizza or one of their dinner specials, you will not be disappointed. They have a lot of interesting pizza choices. One of my favorites is their magic mushroom. During the summer, this restaurant is great as you can sit on the deck and enjoy Long Island sound. Glad that they seem to be keeping it open this winter. I recently had the salmon with ravioli (pictured), it was fabulous. Did I mention it is byob!?

Had some errands to run with my grandson in new haven and Milford. Remembered I had a Groupon to try this restaurant- so we went for late lunch. Atmosphere was very nice and service was good and everyone was very pleasant We tried the bacon pizza and shared fried calamari appetizer. Both were very very good itâs cooked on a wood fired oven. We were watching him make stuffed bread -which was really stuffed Going to order one to go next time we go there . It is not a huge restaurant. It has a nice view of water behind it and a pretty nice size parking lot. It does have a separate area bar as you walk in. We will definitely go back again even without the Groupon to try afew more menu items You should try it too if you are in the area

We have eaten here several times mostly for their Sunday through Thursday $9.95 pasta specials. You have many choices, pasta with meatballs, sausage, vodka sauce, lasagna, baked ziti, and more. You get a large portion along with a salad and bread. Great value, good food, and it's always been consistent. The server was good and the pizza isn't bad either. Plenty of other daily specials and a full Italian menu.

You can tell this is an old school place. Not the best New Haven style pizza but good enough if in the area. I've ordered here a few times and would go back again if in the mood for pizza.

There are plenty of famous pizza places in CT. but Colony doesn't get the recognition it deserves yet. They have expanded across the state and we are very happy they opened a restaurant in Milford. They are in an old hardware store building and it has great atmosphere inside and a nice patio out back which is a wonderful place to eat when the weather is nice. They have plenty of beers and other beverages and the only food they sell is pizza. And what a pizza it is, very thin crust, crispy and delicious. Pizzas are small, I guess individual size would sum it up. They have all the toppings you'd expect and maybe a few you don't. My personal favorite is the hot oil pizza, while it's not overly spicy it has a nice little kick to it and is very tasty, the stinger pizza is a close second. The salad pizza is also a winner along with any of the other toppings they offer. Next to Pepe's this is my favorite pizza to go out for. The place gets very busy at night and parking can be difficult especially on a busy night with all the other restaurants in that plaza. But downtown Milford is a nice place to walk around so park where ever you have to and take a stroll to Colony.

We called for pizza it was too late but it was only 7 pm on a Friday. Their pizza is great the only issue is they close too early. We ended up having to go to the original Papa's. The pizza is never disappointing,

We stopped in for a late lunch. There were five of us today. We had a large mozzarella pizza, fried calamari, 2 meatball pots. And an order of gnocchi. Everything was very good. Waitstaff is young and efficient. Portions are just right and quality is good. I still have the same quibbles. Food and drinks are a bit pricy. Other than that this is a good place to have a meal.
