Pizza and Delic
This has very good food. It is a nicer kind of pizza place with some very good sandwiches. Pizza is solid but the stars of the show are the sandwiches. Place is tight and can get busy during lunch. They have a waitress which is really weird and completely unnecessary, but always very nice.

Went for lunch with a friend. Decided to try their anchovy pizza (you might say ugh, but we are both fans). It was wonderful. The waiter brought us some hot bread while we were waiting and that was terrific. Take the anchovies off and the pizza itself was great.

Right off the bat Iâm gonna be upfront in saying that this place is over priced. I had penne with oil and garlic last time I went and it tasted yummy and al dente. It was 16 bucks. The side salad was on the cold side and the bread was typical bread. The staff was annoying in that I donât need to be asked more than once if everything is ok! I sensed an edginess that was a put off to me. Just relax and serve my meal! I say this is worth checking out if you are in the area!

Our group met here for lunch as they liked the wings. I don't eat them but I had the extra cheese margerita pizza. It was thin crusted and nicely prepared. The only problem was the level of noise. It was so noisy I could hardly hear the person sitting next to me. Service was very good though.

Gennaros is a nice neighborhood Italian restaurant that has a dining area, a catering hall, to-go, delivery and outdoor dining options. There is parking in the back. Service is fast and friendly and the food is great and prices are reasonable. Well worth a visit or an order for delivery or takeout.

We came here because of the variety of Italian meals. The menu is quite expansive for such a small restaurant. I had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti as a side. I also had a slice of pizza with anchovies. Both were very tasty. The pizza did have a little oil on it but that is normal for New Jersey style pizza as I have had many pizzas around the USA. The seating area could use a remodel but then it would not have a local atmosphere. There is a deli in the back.

This is a great local place for pizza and other Italian favorites. The prices are very reasonable - pasta main course $12 - $15. You can order the kid's half-portions for about $7 or ask them to split your pasta dish for 2 people. The serving sizes are HUGE so even the kid's portion is big enough for an adult. My favorites are Chicken Francese and Pasta with Vodka Sauce. Don't forget to try the Tiramisu or Cannoli for dessert! They also have pasta night on Mondays for more pasta options. This is a no-frills place that serves good food at a very reasonable price. We go at least one or twice a month!

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Saturday night. We shared an appetizer of fried calamari which was crisp and tender. I would have preferred the accompanying tomato sauce to have a slight kick but my husband thought it was perfect. We shared the Caesar salad as our next course. The waitress very nicely brought it out in two separate bowls. That had to be the best Caesar salad I ever had! Dressing was perfect in taste and amount. My husband had the papperdelle with a meat sauce & I ordered the lasagna. Both pastas were fresh & delicious with the lasagna noodles having a crepe like consistency. Both sauces were very good The service was excellent with perfect timing. No rushing or constantly asking " can I take that plate" when you are still eating. We thoroughly enjoy this type of service and with the restaurant being quiet, D'novo is a relaxing enjoyable, delicious experience. Just what a restaurant should be. The prices are extremely reasonable and it is a byob The only reason why I did not rate it as excellent was because of the tables and chairs. Our table was way to small for two people. Between wine and water glasses& pasta plates, there was no room for anything else. Our table was right next to the wall & I had to pull it out in order to have elbow room. The chair was a bit small & uncomfortable

You can find plenty of pizza shops with the standard double deck pizza oven, but we wanted something different. So off to Antonio's we went. Tucked in the middle of the block in downtown Metuchen, the brick oven pizza was very good. Would welcome a thinner and crisper crust version next time we go!
